"Extreme Overbilling ($19,954 Gap) and No Receipts I hired Pro Edge Roofing, LLC for roofing/siding. A forensic audit revealed a $19,954 overcharge they refuse to justify with documentation. Key Issues: Material Overbilling: Billed for 104 shingle bundles for a roof requiring ~75. They refused to provide Supplier Delivery Receipts to prove delivery. 358% Markup: Charged $2,520 for plywood their own list valued at $550. Text records from Jan 16 show pricing was "made up" as an estimate ($5k-$6k), not a fixed contract. Predatory Labor: Billed $3,386 in labor for a one-day gutter install, grossly exceeding market rates. Faulty Work: Texts confirm management admitted siding was improperly installed and needed "rework". I have filed formal complaints with WA Labor & Industries and the Attorney General for Consumer Protection Act violations (RCW 19.86). Currently pursuing a claim against their bond (PROEDER754LK)."
