"I recently moved into my home. There were very few issues listed by the original inspector. Everything started going wrong in my home. I was despondent and felt unsafe. I called Troy. He took his time with the inspection, explaining everything to me along the way. He explained the priorities and made me feel safe and secure. After the repairs are made, I will call him back to inspect the repairs. He cares and I trust him."
Testing is the only way to find out about your home's radon level.
The EPA and the Surgeon General recommend testing of all homes below the third floor for radon.

"During a heat wave in August with temps in the 90s, our air conditioner went out. We had a technician come out on Monday morning who recommended replacement of our unit. I purchased the Enhanced Service Plan for $250 which would provide two annual maintenance services. I was told that the office would call us back with an estimate. Near the end of the day, we called and asked for an estimate and were told we would receive one in the morning. We waited until after noon on Tuesday to make a decision on which company to go with after receiving 2 other estimates. Given the heat wave and having not received an estimate from Mark IV at that time, we decided to go with a company. I emailed asking if I could receive a refund on the Enhanced Service Plan due to the untimely estimate and the company we ended up going with requiring us to use their service for the first year for warranty purposes. I never received a reply or a refund."

"The project went very well, and our teens now have the best bathroom in the house. We went from a pink tiled bath with an old, single sink vanity (pink, also), pink tub and pink toilet to an updated bath with a separate toilet / bath area, plenty of built in storage, and two sink areas. Tom has done many projects for us and all have been above expectations. Tom is great about making sure the details are done right. I had specific ideas about what I wanted in this bath project, and they were executed flawlessly."

"Stair railing renovation: The railing in this house leading from the upstairs to the basement was outdated and looked like it belonged outdoors. AllPhase designed and replaced it, leaving the original posts at my request. It now is beautiful and fitting for the decor. I had tried numerous times to have this done and could not find anyone with the artistic skill and construction ability to tackle the project. An eyesore is now nearly art"

"Bryan did my home inspection prior to purchase. This was not my first home purchase, so I have had inspectors previously. He did the bare minimum and charged a premium price. When I pointed issues out to him that should be included on the report, he cut me off and said: 'the only things I'm looking for are severe issues, structural, stuff like that' previous inspectors I have had told me "I'm looking for anything I can find that's wrong" so you can understand my surprise when I was paying top dollar for this inspection. Well he missed SEVERAL major issues and pointed out things that were total non-issues in his report. There have been countless issues that popped up after I moved in that should have been caught by any decent inspector. Instead of moving into a ready house that was fixed up by the seller. I moved into a house that I have been constantly making major critical repairs to. "

"Would 100% hire again. Professional and timely! Fantastic experience! One year after building our home, half of it burnt down. So, not only was this devastating, but we needed to ensure that any work done was up to par, or better, than the original construction. They delivered and then some. This restoration company went above and beyond in fixing up my place after a fire. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were outstanding. Now, my house feels completely renewed, and I couldn't be happier with their excellent service. Additionally, we added space above our garage as well as an outside balcony with stairs and we are more than thrilled with the result. Also, Mike (one of the workers) is the hardest working man in the construction business. Highly recommend them for anyone needing restoration or upgrades!"

FAQs for radon gas abatement projects in Fishers, IN

The only way to know whether your home or water supply contains radon is to schedule a professional test. A qualified radon inspector will collect samples, deliver lab-verified results, and explain the findings for $150 to $800. Once you know your exact levels, you and your radon mitigation pro can choose the right system and tackle the problem before it affects your family’s health.

Both roles tackle radon, but they focus on different steps. Inspectors test your home, interpret the results, and determine whether levels exceed EPA guidelines. Mitigation pros design and install the system that lowers those levels. Some companies do both, but the skills and equipment differ, so always verify that the person you hire is properly certified for the specific service you need.

Installing a mitigation unit fixes radon problems by reducing indoor gas levels to established safe standards. A system designed and installed by a mitigation expert, tailored to your home's specific layout and foundation, guarantees effective radon reduction. This expert installation ensures consistent performance over time while safeguarding your indoor air quality.

Open windows and doors do not reduce radon levels because they trigger a pressure imbalance that draws radon-laden air into your home. This practice fails to control radon concentration and can even worsen the issue. An active suction mitigation system provides a proven, safe, and effective solution to reliably reduce radon levels.

Radon mitigation systems generally last between 10 and 30 years, depending on system type and maintenance. Passive systems endure the longest because they have no moving parts, whereas active systems, which use a fan, require fan replacement every 5 to 10 years. System components, such as PVC pipes, seals, and fittings, can remain effective for decades when paired with periodic inspections and proper maintenance.

Radon mitigation systems consume between 300 and 3,000 kWh of electricity per year, depending on fan size and system design. On average, an active radon fan draws 100 to 300 watts continuously, which translates to roughly 876 kWh annually, and adds $30 to $300 to your energy bill each year. Choosing a high-efficiency fan and ensuring tight sealing around pipes helps minimize these ongoing costs.
