"I had put this project off way too long because I was dreading dealing with more shady, sketchy contractors. Living in a house that's 84 years old, I've had more than my share of those! I was so pleasantly surprised and happy when I found Carl's! Everyone was very professional, courteous and punctual, and the workmanship was impeccable. Craig was the project manage and very easy to work with. He understood my concerns about being without handrails on the newly installed masonry stairs for even one day and arranged to have his crew start their part the day after the stairs were completed. He even stopped by a couple of times while the mason was working to see how it was going. "J&A built a deck for us with a lattice wall underneath. The deck was generally well done. The lattice was a disaster. After a year, I am re building it myself due to the poor quality of the original lattice wall. Joe came to look at the lattice but never followed through on repair. J&A also installed a new sliding glass door. That was well done, but the screen door does not work properly. Joe came to look at the problem, but never fixed it. His follow through is problematic, if something goes wrong.."

"The work done was phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for a better front deck. We had an old rotted, wood front deck that was falling apart and way out of code. They came by, assessed the area with proper measurements, demolished and redid a whole new Trek and vinyl railings front deck. They worked well with my wife and I's desires and we couldn't be happier. Due to Covid, materials took much longer than expected, but once it was all said and done it was worth the wait. Jarci kept in great communication with us and made sure when the materials would come in and what would be done in the project. Definitely would hire again."
