"Mary Jane Grigsby is the heart and soul of Adesso Interior Design.  She is attentive, supportive, and able to find just the perfect provider of services.  We began a large renovation of our kitchen, baths, and office.  Initially, we hired a construction manager we thought we would be working with to oversee the project.  Within two weeks we knew we needed someone who was better equipped to manage this $65,000 project. <br />           We had decided to work with Mary Jane on the design of the project, but in talking with her about what all needed to be done, we quickly discovered that she was used to being the General Contractor. She had a full complement of subcontractors.  She found the kitchen design and construction crew; she had the electrician, plumber, painters, and demolition folks (Habitat for Humanity).  She had multiple useful suggestions on how to better use the space that we had, and she helped us negotiate all of the decisions that have to be made when reconstructed space. <br />         We are thrilled that we found Adesso Interior Design to work with us.  We highly recommend Adesso and Mary Jane to anyone starting a new project or renovating a current space.  She was attentive and a week never passed that we didn't touch base on what was happening and what still needed to be done.  When it comes time to redesign the lower level (basement) of our home, Mary Jane will be the first person that we call to discuss it.  She is a JOY to work with. <br />"

"I had the task of getting kitchen cabinets for our new house.  As is often the case, what seems easy is not always simple.  I took the floor plan and my envisioned idea of the kitchen layout to several people.  They identified the elements on my want list, and totaled up a price that made my budget look ridiculous.  <br /> The only real help I got was from Freddy at Asheville Cabinets.  I made an appointment with him, and he said he?d do his best.  These are the things that Freddy did: <br /> · <br /> He selected a line of cabinets that was likely to fit my budget rather than choose a line that had the bells and whistles I wanted.  This meant a limited choice of styles and colors, but gave me what I really wanted--an all plywood cabinet rather than an all particle board cabinet. <br /> ·       <br /> He looked at each element of the layout, and designed a kitchen that would be easy to use.  This involved the addition of several 3? spacing panels, the rearranging of the stove and refrigerator, and the modification of a few of the cabinets.  While the overall cabinet space was reduced, the result was a much more enjoyable and functional kitchen.  Now the window over the sink was opened up, the cabinet and refrigerator doors opened fully, the cabinet hardware did not bang into each other, the kitchen was better balanced, and the kitchen embraced universal design principles.    <br /> ·       <br /> He was very patient with me.  As new-to-me options and construction possibilities were identified, I would change details, such as cabinet configuration or size.  This resulted in time consuming refinements and re-dos.  <br /> ·     <br /> He provided excellent customer service.  He was prompt in returning designs and quotes.   He did not hurry appointments.  Samples of cabinet construction, door styles and finishes were easily accessed.  Questions were answered honestly.  He gave information for ancillary organization, such as how delivery and inspection of cabinets was done.  He was disclosing and through. <br /> ·       <br /> He was well organized.  He only accepts residential appointments at certain times, thus he does not over schedule.  He successfully wears several hats at a time.  Since no one else was in the office at the time of our appointment, he asked if it would be alright if he answered the phone.  I was glad of this, since it gave me time for reflection and selection.  But most of all, I was glad that he did not miss out on a timely contact.  When someone wanted more detail, he did say he was in an appointment and would call back.  <br /> Wow!  I don?t think I have been this satisfied with a provider for a long time.  <br /> Thank you, Freddy! <br /> <br />"
