"I cannot stress enough how pleased I am at the job Julio did. The project was a set of glass interior doors that needed to have the holes for the door knob and hinges drilled and routed. One frame was an existing bi-fold door and had to be set up for a standard door. This was not an easy install and a number of other handymen on the top of Angies list admitted they could not handle the job and others gave me the feeling that they were accepting to do something they were not experienced in. Being that they are expensive doors I kept looking until I spoke with Julio and was satisfied with his confidence to be able to do the job. He came in and did the job perfectly! He was very pleasant and very meticulous. When he was done I asked him about a screen repair on the top of my lanai. The screen pulled out and needed the spline refitted. This would have cost a lot to have a screen guy come out just for that job and Julio took care of it for me at a fraction of the cost. If you are reading my review then you are looking for a handyman....trust me and give him a call,,,you will never use anyone else again!"

"New installation went well. I was a little upset that only 50% was covered being that the unit was 19 years old. I'm sure that parts for something that old would be hard to find. Replacement was recommended."

"My husband and I moved from Florida to Los Angeles in 2008 because of a sudden career move.  Unfortunately, we had to leave most of our belongings stored in a 10x10 unit at Uncle Bob's Self Storage on 98 North.

Because of the small, cramped apartments in LA, I wasn't able to move belongings out until another move recently took us to Texas.  Now that we have a house, I was able to FINALLY think about moving our personal belongings to a permanent location.  That means, we haven't seen our contents for 6 years.  Trying to coordinate a move from Texas for contents located in Florida was such an extreme challenge and I was beginning to give up even being able to find anyone to tackle it.

I FINALLY called Angie's List for a referral for the central Florida market and gave Start Moving a call.  They were the first ones that even were willing to talk to me about moving my items from a storage unit into a PODS.  Everyone else wasn't willing to do a PODS move and instead insisted that I use a full service moving company, which was too cost prohibitive.

Start Moving was GREAT to work with and helped out so much!  My movers were Mark and Rifat, ask for them specifically because they made the move so incredibly easy for me.  They picked up my moving pads I reserved at a U-Haul dealer, let me put my PODS on their property (since the storage unit refused to let me have on there, even for just a few days), cut my lock off my unit, drive my belongings back to their warehouse after loading everything into their truck and loaded up my PODS, locked up my PODS and are taking the time to mail me the keys!  The entire move was about 5 hours.

Trust me, from an experienced mover that has literally moved all over the country, these guys are top notch.  Use them and you WILL NOT be disappointed!"

"I thought I had an actual appointment time but instead  I had a several hour window with which they could come and start the job. One man was on the roof while the other worked inside in the fireplace opening. They were very careful to keep the dirt off the carpet which I appreciated. I would have them again now that I understand how they schedule.
