The simultaneous pressing of fridge and freezer worked perfectly. The flashing error codes went away! Mark was so thoughtful and thorough as we discussed pros and cons of replacing the ice maker. Because of the age of the fridge and the unreliability of that Samsung ice maker, the answer was “No”. All of the help on the phone was free of charge since I didn’t need a service call.
