Customers say: Quick response

"Rob responded immediately to the Angie's list request. We made an appointment and he showed up on time. He immediately went to work and explained what he was doing when I asked him. He was very careful to put on slippers to replace his boots. He also laid a tarp to keep the dust from dirtying the fireplace hearth. He quickly assessed the ignition problem and fixed it. ($150) He then moved to rapidly clean the dryer vent ($140). He was professional throughout. I will hire him again."

"Wow, what tremendous service! I called for an inspection to diagnose a leak that I thought was coming from my chimney. Royal arrived within 2 hours of my call which was amazing. He did a thorough inspection including taking pictures of the chimney and roof. It turned out that the problem was with the roof instead of the chimney so he left me a detailed description of the problem and a roofer recommendation. I only paid a nominal service charge for the visit which was well worth the expert advice!"

"Great work! The attic vent pipe for the dryer was inspected as well as the fireplace chimney caps on the roof and overall condition of the firebox.  The chimney and firebox were cleaned and all ashes and creosote removed, making the fireplace safer to use. The chimney hadn't been cleaned in over five years and we burn wood fires about 3 times a week during the winter, so the service was definitely needed.  The dryer vent had a moderate amount of lint buildup so cleaning was quick and not problematic. Service was prompt and very professional. <br />"

"Awesome! I had a situation where critters kept getting in my chimney and also an issue with odor. I thought I needed my cap replaced, but he was able to create a screen to solve the problem for a few hundred bucks:) And let me tell you my roof is not easy to access. I had another company give me an estimate for a several thousand dollars to fix the thing. Capitol Chimney is a very honest company! I will definitely use them next I need anything chimney related."

"Shane examined the problem area where multiple roof lines intersect and the original flashing and shingles in that area were inadequate. He proposed a solution in an estimate with clearly written details. Shane and his team were easy to work with. They installed newly fabricated flashing, a bitumen membrane, and new shingles. They showed up when promised and finished the job over two days, cleaning up both days. When the work was done, Shane provided photos of the roof areas that are not visible from the ground, which I appreciate having. The work looks great. I'd hire Shane again."

"I cannot say enough good things about Milton Oliver of Oliver Brothers Roofing.  There are a lot of bad roofers in Austin, but Oliver Brothers will be the only roofer that sets foot my property. <br /> My house has two additions that have flat roofs. The skylights in one addition had leaked incessantly almost since I bought my house..  After i tried numerous times to fix them, and paid another roofer to fix the problem, I called Oliver Brothers based on a friend's recommendation.  He replaced the tar and gravel roof with a torch down roof.  Since 2010, I have had one problem with the skylight leaking.  Milton came out the day I called.  Turned out to be a defect in the skylight, not the roof.  Nevertheless, Milton fixed it for free. <br /> In 2013, the other flat roof, which was replaced in 2005 by another roofer, was already starting to look pretty bad.  Milton replaced it and I've had zero problems since.   <br /> Flat roofs are notoriously hard to keep from leaking.  I was up on my roof checking for signs of hail damage in late March 2014 after a storm.  Both flat roofs look brand new. <br /> I'd also like to share that I had Milton come evaluate the roof on my rent house recently.  Although we agreed the roof was poorly done (not his work) and would need to be replaced soon, he advised me to wait for a hail storm.  He could have sold me a roof that day, but he gave me his honest opinion knowing he'd get my business when the time is right. <br /> Oliver Brothers Roof will treat you right.  I highly recommend them. <br /> <br /> <br />"
