"We hire this so called ?pro? Lance Ray back in August to built a deck , he disappeared on us and it?s almost mid December and we have been trying to get in touch with him with no luck . We don?t want to press charges , we want for him to bring the materials we already paid for as we have hired someone else to finish the job and to our dismay found out that this so called ?pro? never filed for a permit with the city and that the wood was never treated I have no idea the people that has given him good reviews if they are real or like a neighbor told us , maybe they are relatives Anyhow we are ready to go to the city and put a complaint as he can?t get away with this . See how he left the project ( picture attached ) , this is a guy that did one year of community college . Our bad for not doing more research on him Update as of 01/05/2026 I?m updating my previous review. At the beginning of the project, we experienced significant communication issues and the job was left unfinished for a period of time, which was very frustrating and led me to post a negative review. After that, communication resumed, he returned, and the original project was completed to our satisfaction. The quality of the finished work met our expectations. Because the project was ultimately resolved and completed well, we decided to hire him again for an additional project. I feel it?s important to share the full experience so others can make an informed decision. Below find pictures of the finished job!"

"John, owner of Improvement Pros, and his team recently finished a kitchen remodel for us. Although we kept the same layout, the cabinets, counters, kitchen sink, and backsplash were all replaced. His team also added crown molding and trim on the soffit to help it blend in with the cabinets. John is very good about keeping in touch throughout the project, so we usually knew what to expect day-to-day. The project did run longer than expected, but that was because one of his employees took a job overseas and quit without advanced notice. If that wouldn’t have happened, the job would have been finished as expected. To make up for that delay, John worked on a Saturday and gave us a small discount on the overall price. He also strived to make sure that my husband and I were both satisfied with the end results. Not happy about a tile? He’ll fix it. Cabinet doors look just a little off to you? He’ll straighten them. At the end of a project, he asks for honest feedback because he wants to keep improving his business.
