"I had three estimates, his price was reasonable. Here is what I liked...he called 1/2 hour before arrival, very neat, cleaned up after themselves, all three people seemed interested in the job, cheerful employees, took pictures of chimney when bid, when cap was removed to replace found additional problem offered several options and price points to address the new issue, new pictures to show problem. Had to add two additional rows of brick. Keeps a stock of different brick in order to match existing brick. My home is an odd brick and the house is sixty years old so this was a worry. The verdict you can not tell this is not the original brick, matches perfectly. Another thing which is small but major to a home owner, a gizmo, which makes it easier to but the hose on and off the faucet instead of twisting it on, on the faucet broke. They had used the hose and they told me about the gizmo. They were going to replace. The gizmo was old and showing its age and they certainly could have pointed this out but they didn’t use this as an argument. It was old and I will replace it myself but appreciated they told me about it. Insured and all the normal stuff you ask for, but for reasons detailed above would recommend."

Detailed pictures were provided so I could see exactly the areas needing attention and repair. Fireplace had not been inspected for a couple years, I now have piece of mind knowing we are safe to burn this fall/ winter. Worth every penny. Highly recommend."

Olde Towne Chimney replaced the crown with poured concrete, removed mortar from a previously botched repair and re-tucked with new mortar, and sealed the chimney with a 10 year sealer. "As part of removing the brick wall, Masonry Craftsman Joe Kreger carefully sawed the ends of both the south-facing and north-facing brick walls to match the new siding. The most critical part was creating a waterproof transition from the first story shingled roof to the vinyl siding. Repair Specialist Edgar Cordova removed the topmost row of shingles all the way across the roof. Then he sawed out an approximately ten inches wide strip of the underlying Oriented Strand Board (OSB) all the way across the wall; replacing this with new OSB. Next he over-lapped the existing roofing felt with a new layer (extending well up the wall) of “Snow Parrish felt, sealing all the seams. He then placed a row of new shingles. Finally he formed and installed a continuous sheet of flashing from the front (south) side of the house to the back (north) side; carefully caulking all the edges. Finally the siding was deftly mounted over the top edge of the flashing and all the way up to the top of the gable. Each step was very carefully executed and the result is a very attractive, water-proof wall. A few of the bricks of the north-facing brick wall needed to be replaced. Masonry Craftsman Joe Kreger returned for this touch up. His work is a perfect match to the existing wall and he artistically matched a décor feature used at each window by the original mason. We were continually reminded to call, by each crew chief, if we had any need for additional work to complete the job to our total satisfaction. My opinion: You can pay more, but you cannot buy better workmanship."

"The company immediately responded via Angie's List "Submit a Question" and set up a date for the inspector to come out and look at everything.  This was unlike Beams Roofing & Contracting who informed me "I'm sorry but we would have to pass. There isn't enough money in gutters for that type of distance and multiple trips. Brad Rigney"-wasn't multiple trips involved so don't understand, guess they didn't need the money.  Anyways, Steve came out and gave an estimate and mission was a 'go'.   <br /> When the team was here to do the work, I didn't know they were coming until about 90 minutes before hand when I got a call from the receptionist, it was identified that there were some parts of the gutters that needed actual replacing.  Initially Steve did not think so; however, the installer worked it with Steve who then worked it with me, which is a professional way of doing things...the installer did show/explain to me his reasoning and it made perfect sense. <br /> I approved the 'change' in the work order and awaited the parts to arrive.    <br /> The only reason I did not give them an "A" in responsiveness is because there was not a lot of time in between notification of execution and execution, which wouldn't be an issue but I have three dogs that I needed to put in the cage.  Outside of that, no complaints at all.  Steve was very informative as to what was needed and the team that actually did the work (a married team) did an outstanding job.  Definitely a worthwhile organization. <br />"
