"I contacted Hentges Carpentry for an exterior door install during the first week of March for an exterior door install after finding them through Home Advisor. Raine, the owner, came and gave me an estimate and luckily was able to get to our project later that week even with the snow and cold. I purchased the door and new lock hardware the day of the estimate although he could have ordered it for me also. He and his coworker Chris arrived on time and got right to work. They did an excellent job and even replaced some rotten wood beneath the door once it was removed. They worked quickly although I never once felt the that they rushed through the job. They were both very friendly and kept me informed throughout the project with what they found and the methods they would use to fix it. The cost was right on par with the other estimates I recieved. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone needing work! Thank you for your hard work fellas!"

"The first guy that came out misdiagnosed the problem.  We had to have them come out again.  He didn't charge us, and did the correct repair.  They were OK with pricing.  Most repair places don't apply the service call charge to the repair charge, but Sears did.  The first person I talked to on the phone didn't know what she was talking about.  That call was very challenging, possibly because of a language barrier.  I would use them again."

"I had them come out to my townhome and quote a new patio door as my frame had some rot and was leaking during rain. I actually liked their ideas and professionalism. They seemed interested in doing the job, and knowledgeable about what I needed. I quoted three other companies from angie's list. I probably would have went with them except they never called me back, or sent me an appraisal. They did tell me when they were at my house it would be 6-8 weeks before they could get in to do the work. I thought that was a long time but I was willing to wait because I think they could have done a good job. I even called the appraiser several days after the appraisal and discussed an additional option and he told me no problem and I would have a quote in 1-2 days. I ended up going with someone else that had a better response, perhaps they were just too busy and didn't need the work. I figured if I can't get them to call me back during the appraisal, who knows what will happen if I have issues once they complete the job. Hopefully this was a one off and I just fell through the cracks.
