"Anctil forgot to write my appointment in their scheduling books and completely missed the appointment. When I called, they did send someone out that same day, which was slightly redeeming. They apologized but that seems like kind of a big blunder. Mine is a potential $15,000 job. <br /> I explained what I wanted in terms of the bid to the technician Eric (who was very polite), and my situation is slightly complicated because it's a duplex. We discussed a few different options, and Eric said they would be on the bid. Only some of the options we discussed ended up showing up on the bid. <br /> I also brought up an incentive program run by the ETO that Anctil apparently was not involved in, but Eric said he would research it to see whether Anctil could participate. I received the bid with no mention of the program or its incentives. <br /> On the plus side, they were pretty quick with getting their bid to me after the walkthrough. <br /> I'm waiting to hear back about the missing items from the bid. Their reply will determine whether I will use them in the future. <br />"

"Our nine-year-old over the range GE microwave died. It's during Covid-19 and not only did Quinn arrive on time he was wearing a mask and gloves (never touched his face either). Initially, it looked like the issue was a fuse. He replaced the dead fuse in and it died again. He then removed the microwave from under the cabinet and looked at and tested parts. It wasn't the magnetron, it was the transformer. He provided the cost to repair. It would have been more than to buy a new one. We decided to buy a new one. Quinn offered to haul away, free of charge, the dead microwave. We will most definitely use A & P Appliance again!"
