First with the estimate, which came 2 days after I was told I would have it. and after the work on my sliding door was finished, they were supposed to get back to me on whether or not they could find new wheels for the door. They said I should hear the next day, it's been over a month and I never heard back from them."

"Robert did an amazing job! Starting with excavation, and all through finishing the barn, he truly went above and beyond to address the difficult terrain, narrow access to the building site, weather conditions (we started building in the winter), and most importantly, my frequent plan modifications. Robert not only built my truly beautiful barn, he also organized and helped me with other jobs (fence, retaining wall etc), advised me and took care of everything to make sure the building process went as smoothly as possible. Out of all the professionals I dealt with during this build (plumbing, electrical, painting), Robert is the only one I encountered no issues with. "We couldn t be happier with our addition from Paradise Construction! Nour and his crew were extremely professional and courteous throughout the process. Nour was one of many contractors we had bid on existing plans for a two story addition on our 1920 s bungalow. His bid was reasonable in comparison and the quality of work met or exceeded our expectations. We appreciated that the work was completed within the agreed upon timeline. We were living in the home during the construction and they were respectful of our space and privacy. He, or his office manager, kept in constant contact about upcoming work and all aspects of the project. "We hired Fine Finish (Mark) to design and build a 2-car attached garage with partially finished space overhead, including a small finished office.
It's hard to list all the ways Mark and Travis went above and beyond during our garage addition project. First, they worked through some of the worst weather an Oregon winter has to offer. While most of Portland was crippled due to flooding, Mark and Travis were hauling shingles up a 2-story ladder and installing our roof. When they were planning the gutter installation, they noticed that our existing gutters were still full of oak leaves. So they cleaned the gutters. They were especially patient with our 18 month-old son, who affectionately referred to them as the ?guys? and took a keen interest in everything they did.
Mark anticipated future design aspects that we hadn?t thought of like leaving space and wiring in the garage for a central HVAC
system. He asked insightful questions about future plans to make sure our money was spent wisely, now and in the future. Even during the design phase, Mark was very transparent about different cost-saving options and associated tradeoffs. 
We expected that once the work started, we would mostly be dealing with subcontractors. To our surprise, only the foundation work, gutters, and garage door installation were sub-contracted. Mark and Travis did all of the framing and finish work themselves. As a result, the quality of our addition is noticeably superior to that of our original home.
If you want someone to hire an army of people to throw your project together as quickly as possible, look elsewhere. If you want the attention to detail of a craftsman and an honest, no-nonsense interaction with someone who takes pride in his work and has your best interests at heart, talk to Mark. We?re glad we did and we?ll definitely be back in the future.

"When John came to the house, one of the rollers coincidentally broke apart. John advised that because of the weight of the 16 foot wood door, I needed heavy duty steel wheel rollers that he did not have on hand (rather than plastic wheel rollers) and rescheduled to install them. He came back and installed the rollers, tightened and lubricated the hinges and advised on general maintenance."

"They were fast, professional and even picked up material for us! I had a newborn at the time and they offered to purchase and pick up materials at home depot. Really great work!!

"They put moldings over a closet and punctured the tracks so the doors couldn't slide.  That created an extra job for my husband who had to redo it.  One window they framed and did a good job the other had a few gaps that I can fix with caulk.  The closet they framed was uneven by about a half inch on one side.  So good job for getting a few things finished but not very detail oriented.
