"He always came when he said he was going to come. He always came fully prepared and ready to work. He repaired one wall of the outbuilding quickly, and the repair is indistinguishable from the original walls. He rebuilt the floor of the outbuilding and now it is sturdy and dry and the door can be closed securely. <br /> He found some fungus damage where the wood was rotted under a crawl space that the pest inspector failed to find. The wood was rotted to the point of falling apart. He replaced the damaged supports and beams, and insulated so that the floor above wouldn't be cold. <br /> During his initial home inspection. Mr. Jeffery noted that the electrical panel for the house was one that is no longer UL certified. He urged us to have it inspected by a licensed electrician. The seller agreed to do this and reported back to us that it had passed. At the time we didn't know enough to require documentation from the electrician. After we had purchased the house, he still urged us to have someone look at the panel. The electrician that we hired found that one of the main bars in the panel had melted in two places. The electrician also found that the system was not grounded properly. Mr. Jeffery was capable and dependable in every way on the work he did for us. However, his main strength is as a home inspector. He is thorough and meticulous.
