"Freedom Fence & Deck did a fantastic job replacing our 35-year-old wood fence with a beautiful white vinyl fence. Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. A certain kind of handle had to be ordered, and as soon as it came in, he came back to install it. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. And the new fence has completely transformed the look of our property—we’ve already had several compliments from neighbors. "Wonderful experience!! This is the second time we have used Maryland Decking and Kyle Funk as our salesperson; they came in on budget for our project and in the time frame that we needed. Kyle is great, but we had a couple questions regarding the placement during installation, so he showed up day of installation with shovel in hand. They want things to be as right as we did, which is refreshing. GREAT customer service! The project consisted of extended a patio that we had done by them a few years ago, you would never know that it wasn’t original, blends perfectly and the crew couldn’t have been better, they worked hard and when we asked a question they stopped to listen and then gave us the answer without being annoyed. Left the site neat and clean too. Hard to find good workers, with good customer service while staying in budget and on time with a great salesperson on top of it! "I had such a great experience with DryTech. The estimate was clear, fair and fast. Communication was also clear and responsive. I never felt like I was out of the loop on my project. Yes, I love my fence, but my appreciation for the wonderful crew that did my installation! They were polite, worked hard and didn't make excessive noise when working late into the evening. They were on time and did as they said they would. I didn't have to hoover lol. They had everything under control and worked very well together. They hand dug my post as to not damage my garden. This was no easy task and I appreciate that. Some of the other companies wanted me to remove whole flower beds and trees so they could machine the post holes! That's crazy! Not DryTech they hand dug! "We are having a fence put up along our property lines and needed several shrubs and small trees cleared out. I called Freestate on Friday, the 25th and was able to set up an estimate for the following Sunday morning. Ben showed up on time, gave an estimate and confirmed they would be able to get me on the schedule for that week.
He promised to follow up with me right away to confirm the details. I received a voicemail later in the day confirming that we were on the schedule for the following day! We had a couple emails back and forth and received extremely fast responses each time.
As promised, the crew came out on Monday and removed everything. They did a great job clearing everything out without leaving any debris. The stumps were also ground out and my lot looks like there were never any shrubs/ trees planted in that location.
We had a great experience from the first phone call through the completion of the job and would recommend them to anyone needing tree work.
