"Mark, the owner of Jersey Carpentry, performed the work himself and did a beautiful job. He had to build a small wall and frame a new doorway where none existed. A separate worker did the spackling which turned out perfectly. Mark installed the new door and woodwork around it."

"Company is great. Listened to what I wanted, which was a lot and provided each service exactly as I wanted. Remodeled and moved appliances, added tiles, ordered and put in cabinets. Needed no one else to come in. Was all done by this company!! My kitchen is perfect now. Thank you David!!!!"

"The project was to repair/replace vinyl siding that was damaged in the hurricane. Wesley and his crew are very experienced and knowledgeable. Wesley answered all my questions with clear concise answers because he personally has the knowledge to do so. Other companies sent out people that were full of spin and gave me no confidence that their workers would be any better. For peace of mind and a hassle free job I 100% recommend Wesley and his company Geen Contracting!."

"Fabiano and his staff are some of the best people I have ever hired for my home projects. I texted Fabiano yesterday and he was at my home within hours to write me a free quote. We agreed to have the service completed and the guys just left an hour ago. I can’t say enough about the professionalism, timeliness, cleanliness, and just overall end product at a very reasonable cost. They installed crown molding in our master bedroom+hallway, painted the baseboards, and painted the doors/trim. We’ve hired Crown King previously and just as impressed then. I’ve referred him to friends and they’ve been equally happy with the work completed. Thank you Fabiano and the staff at Crown King!"

"Just wrapped up a pool deck and pool resurfacing project with Ross Services. I’ve managed my fair share of much larger commercial construction projects so I’m well aware of the quality and performance spectrum one might encounter with any contractor. I can honestly say that I don’t remember a project that went this smoothly. Joel was a pleasure to deal with, his crew knew the assignment and executed well, and they were all responsive when I had questions or suggestions about the project. I don’t expect any issues now that the project is done but if something did come up,I am very confident that Joel will make it right. A great experience overall and would definitely hire them again."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Fort Myers, FL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
