"There was a wind storm in DC that caused some of the shingles on my roof to be damaged and I called and scheduled an appointment with Keith Roofing to assess the damage. Quite a few homes in the area sustained roof or structural damage and I was pleased that Keith Roofing was able to schedule an appointment so quickly. On the day of the appointment, the roofer arrived on time and determined that some of the nails had dislodged and caused some of the shingles to lift away from the roof. He nailed and sealed the lifted shingles and, as a bonus, cleaned out my clogged gutters. I appreciate the professionalism and workmanship and if I need any roof repairs in the future, I'll reach out to Keith Roofing."

"If you don't want to read all the details below then it point is - Bill matched roofing and siding that was more then 20 years old and it was a challenge! My house is an older house with an asphalt shingled roof and vinyl siding. A new addition was added in 2000. Over the years the roof of the original house had been repaired, the shingles were slightly different in color for each patch. The addition was a slightly different blue for the original house. The house and addition needed help. William Richmond replaced my neighbors roof, it looked so clean and new and perfect! So I asked Bill to give me a quote for the roof and it was within my price range. Looking at the house I realized that this might be the moment to make the addition and the house match. I told Bill I wanted the house's roof to match the addition and that I wanted the house's siding to match the addition. The addition was 21 years old. Tough job to make a beautiful whole out of a nice half and rough half. Bill matched the roofing from the addition with some serious searching. The siding was harder but he found siding for the house that made it the match the addition. Note: my husband is color blind and when he built the addition he could not see the difference in color, I married him in 2002 (I'm not color blind and the house and additional always hurt my teeth). In short order I had the house and addition of my dreams, one beautiful unified whole. Every day I take my dog for a walk and everyday as I walk towards my house I'm so pleased with how it looks. It has been almost 3 years of visual bliss. In addition the workmanship is excellent and it was done on time with careful clean-up. Perfection! But it was the effort to please my eyes but getting me the perfect roofing and perfect siding that makes me write this now after yet another dog walk and another moment of pleasure as I look at our house. "Extremely well from beginning to end. The written estimate (one of 3) was provided by David Rohrer on 11/25/19 a day or two after an on-time visit to determine my need, measure the windows and explain product choices as well as the process from start to end. After obtaining all 3 estimates, I chose Unicorp on 11/27/19 based on price, product (Vytex vinyl) and most importantly...past experience (Roof, Front Entry-way). The manufacturer's rep (Mike) came on 12/10/19 to measure more precisely and a mid-January 2020 installation was projected. Several calls to keep me updated were made by the installation team/manufacturer's scheduler and installation was scheduled for 01/22/20. The installation team was a 1/2-hour early (7:30am) and thereby was able to complete all the work on a sunny, mid-40 degree day with little wind as darkness closed in. The 3-man installation team team was professional, courteous and careful with both interior and exterior, landscaping, etc., and thoroughly cleaned up the premises, inside and out. The window installation also had to be timed with my home security vendor, both before and after installation and the window crew did was very careful to avoid creating problems. The windows look great, function as promised (mechanically and insulation-wise) and the +$18k was well spent. I highly recommend Unicorp for home energy services (windows, roofing, doors) and if I ever needed siding I would go with them again."

"Crew was responsive, although most did not speak English. Foreman and supervisor were responsive and professional. Major problems occurred with installation. First, rough treatment during shingle removal caused a large piece of roofing plywood to break free and crash through ceiling drywall, narrowly missing gallery artwork. A drywall specialist did respond quickly, but spoke little English. That job was not finished properly because of lack of proper finishing tools. Because of slow response to finish the drywall, the owner decided to finish it himself. Second, a major leak occurred during a rainstorm. It was determined that no flashing was installed at a juncture between two sections of the roof. That problem was resolved by a separate crew. This situation was inexcusable for a roofing company that professes to be superb, and should not have occurred. Fortunately, Power Remodeling responded quickly to resolve the problems. So far, the new roofing looks fine with complements from neighbors."
