"Carpets are various sizes ranging from 8X11 to 3X5 and all are in excellent condition but were soiled. They all came back looking like new! Very pleased that the fringes are white again, and the colors vibrant and the shapes intact. We have had the carpets cleaned in the past and know that the cost is comparable and well worth the excellent job they did. Will DEFINITELY use Arizona Rug Company again."

"We had this done in a summer home that we had not yet lived in. We went to the store, based on the Angie's List recommendation. We paid in advance after picking out a color. Dealt directly with Reva and she could not have been any nicer or easier to deal with. Very pleasant and personable, making the process very seamless.  The installation was done after we returned to our winter home and the installer was kind enough to take pictures of the finished product and send them to me. <br /> The only thing that I was not too happy with was the color of the molding, which I based on the color that the vinyl looked in the store. It looked greyish white in the store and once installed in my bathroom, very definitely a light beige. I chose a grey molding because of this and it does not look all that great with the beige floor. But all in all, for doing this quickly, and mostly long distance, I am pleased with the results. <br /> The only reason I did not give them an A for professionalism was because when we met with the installer to pay him for his services, he smelled of alcohol. <br />"

"<p>We recently purchased flooring from Carpets of Dalton.  Our experience was great.  We encountered a very kind salesperson who listened to our ideas and expectations.  We agreed on carpet for our bedrooms, tile for our baths, kitchen and laundry and beautiful hardwood for our dining and living areas.  This project was spread over several weeks and they were great in helping us coordinate the install with all the furniture we had to move.  The gentleman who came to measure was polite and professional. He got right to the task and was finished in the allotted time.  The products we ordered are beautiful and the quality was exactly what we expected.  The installers were prompt at showing up at the agreed upon time and finished in a timely manner.  They seemed to be sensitive to the ?mess? they were making during the installation and made a point of cleaning the areas they were working in.  They really were craftsmen.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Thanks for doing a nice job for our family.</p> <br />"

"We took quite a while lining up materials. Troy was very patient with us. He even held his pricing for several months while our new kitchen cabinets were built and installed. As soon as the cabinets were in Cochise Flooring started on the laminate floors. In just a week they were done. We gave them a few days off so the new baseboards could go in. They will be back soon to install carpet. <br />"

"I went to Granite Plus's showroom and selected the specific granite slap for my laundry room. They walked us through all the details, as far detail edge selection. Nollan (Owner) came out to take the measurements and take the template of the sink to fabricate the grantie.  <br /> All work was done on the time schedule provided to us at the time of purchase. The installers who came out were very polite, made sure I was satisfied with the work, as well as taking all debris with them. Installing the granite countertop included the install of the undermount sink, which the hole was perfectly fabricated. The seams are maticulous and I would not hesitate to recommend Granite Plus (Nollan) to others. They may not be the least expensive, but the workmanship and professionalism is imparitive to have granite appropriately measured, fabricated and installed! You will not go wrong with Granite Plus. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Fort Huachuca, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
