"Eric, John, Bobby, Jack, and others treated my house like it was theirs. They dealt with my waffling on the stain color, including staining a total of about 12 sample spots on my floor on 3 different occasions trying to find something to my liking. They also were unfazed by the couple of unexpected things that popped up, as they will with any renovation job. They provided a tentative schedule at the start and stuck to it. Having the floors sanded, stained and sealed while you are living in the house is not a painless undertaking, but having them stay on schedule made it bearable because we knew the end date. The outcome of the job dwarfs the inconvenience of the process. The floor is absolutely awesome. There used to be raised metal vents in the floor. Now there are flush-mount, color-matched, wooden vents (see picture.) You don't see them unless you look for them and you won't feel them if you happen to walk on them. The shoe molding is also perfectly matched. There is no difference between the old and new sections (see picture.) Between their "sandless" equipment, sealing off areas, and cleaning up behind themselves, there was no sawdust for me to clean up. (I did have to change out my furnace filters.) Nothing but good things to say. All contractors and home-renovation jobs should be this good."

"Overall, the house looked good when she finished. <br /> My expectation was (based on what she told me on the phone) was that two people would be coming to clean for a total of 4 hours. Of course, this sounded wonderful and I knew a lot of cleaning would then be accomplished in my 2300 sq ft home. But only one person came. She also said that she would clean for four hours. But in reality, it was 3.5 hours. I got the feeling that she cut it a little short because (again, she told me) the upstairs bathroom needed a lot of work, and after 3.5 hours, she had done all she needed to do for that $99 deal. From a consumer standpoint, that was disappointing to hear. <br /> But overall, she was thorough, very nice, and helped us prepare for a party. <br /> I do not have a lot of experience hiring cleaning services, so I do not know what the norm is. <br />"

"Costen did a great job, showed up on time, worked quickly and carefully, did what they said they'd do and the floors look amazing.  Other than the odor, which really wasn't too bad because we had them use water based stain, it was easy and painless.  I wish we'd had the floors done sooner, they really look great."
