He arrived about 6:30 PM xand Immediately went to work assessing what my fridge's cooling problem was. It took him little time to determine that its compressor was shot. He explained how my compressor works, photographed the coils? that should have been frosty but were not so that I could see the evidence, and used a meter? to verify that the Freon that should have been flowing was not. He himself does not install the kind of compressor my LG fridge uses but advised me that I could get a compressor from someone else who is authorized to install this kind of compressor. In short, although he could not restart the cooling in my fridge and freezer, I felt I had the info I needed to make a decision about whether to repair my 7-year refrigerator or to replace it."
