"This is our second time working with Empire Home Remodeling. We purchased windows and a sliding door back in 2021. Now we are on the market for a front door. Alec came out (same guy after 2 years) on his day off (birthday) to work with us. The products shown were great (variety and quality) and the price is fair compared to the competion. Highly recommend this company."

"These guys are great. They are down to earth and won't shoot for the moon. They are high quality, simple, but excellent. I will definitely use them for my next projects. I went with another contractor in the past which was a bad mistake. I should have just gone with Emally's."

Staining, Remodeling, Interior and Exterior Painting
"Juan and crew did the whole 2 bedroom condo in one day and it looks BEAUTIFUL! They took the initiative to cut carpeting, which we had communicated our intent to replace after painting, along baseboards in order to ensure paint covered all base moulding. They also caulked between wall and ceilings - looks so much better! Very honest; professional, and courteous! Thank you!"

Hardwood and Tile Flooring, Power Washing, Custom Cabinetry and Built Ins , and 2 more
"Rick was professional, hardworking, meticulous and trustworthy. He built us a board and batten type wall & media shelf over a brick wall in our 1920 s built home. The project was full of challenges(because of our homes age & design) but Rick took the time to figure each one out and produced a beautiful statement wall. We were very happy with him & his work. Would definitely recommend and look forward to working with him again."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
