"Soto's Concrete does professional new work and repair work at affordable prices. They have the expertise in knowing how to fix areas that may cause a lawsuit if someone is hurt due to uneven sidewalks and stairs, too. They are meticulous and clean up after themselves."

"I am happy with the result. There was an equipment issue that caused the job to take longer than anticipated, but Tony and his crew did a good job in working around that. The entire job was done in one day. To my pleasant surprise, the next day, Tony was back adding fill dirt along the edges of the new concrete, a task that I thought I would need to do myself."

"Very professional and accommodating. Due to a rainstorm they could not come out on the scheduled day, we were able to reschedule for the following business day. They fixed a leaky crack in our basement wall. Didn't take more that 2 hours. Great job. So far it has not leaked."

"

I trust Mike to do all of our future masonry work in the future.  We are currently (4/11/2014) putting together plans for a front wrought iron automated gate with concrete pillars and widening the entry to our driveway.  I won't use anybody else.  His prices were fair and he really is a nice guy after getting to know him on the projects he has finished on our dream house.  Thanks Mike!!!

"It's a really good company. They had to dig the yard and break the sidewalk. They took care of the problem so that we could use the toilet and avoided having anything back up in the basement. They did the work in the middle of winter. The plumber's wife came along with him. She and I had coffee as well as a conversation while the plumber and the workers did the work. She then told me that her husband has a college degree working with animals. Since there wasn't much scope in the field of animal husbandry, he got into the excavation work. The price charged for the work was very fair. We had received 4 estimates from different companies. Their estimate was the best estimate compared to the others. The most expensive estimate was about $ 6000 more than what Rishel Excavating had quoted. The plumber said that he didn't believe in charging a huge sum of money. He said that he made a decent profit. He was recommended to us by a guy from the gas company. They were very nice and repaired the sidewalk by putting in new cement. They had to come back to put the new cement, as the ground wasn't quite as cold. They also barricaded the place so that others wouldn't walk over the cement. They were calm and sensible people. I really appreciated them and they were down to earth people. They were good at heart too. They got the job done for less than $ 3000 and we had been told that the job wouldn't be done for less than $ 6000 to $ 9000. We had pipes that were very deep. They also told us that once they open the pipes they would inform us if it was going to cost more money. The plumber said that he was fair with his employees as well as his customers when I asked him as to why he charged so less compared to other companies. He also has employees who have been working for him for many years. They were people who you would never mind having in your house and serving a cup of coffee, but they never took advantage of it. They even called in this summer to find out if we liked the new piping that they had put in. They also asked if the grass was growing properly which really surprised me. They were honest and were easy to talk to. We had a good experience with them. We would use their services in the future too and we wouldn't use anybody else other than them."

"The appointment was for 9am.  Just before 9am, they arrived with their truck. There was a crew of 4.  At 9am, their equipment was in my garage and prepping the floor.
By 1:30pm, the floor was done and BEAUTIFUL.  I regret not doing this years ago.

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Frankton, IN

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
