"I am a bit late with this review but it's because things have been so hectic. Anyway, my sump pump failed so my basement flooded. The guy they sent out was an outstanding plumber. He not only installed a new sump pump but he used a piece of 2X4 to fasten it to the cinder block wall and it is so much quieter! Outstanding work, done quickly but with care, as if he was fixing his own sump! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!"

"We began the investigation of a water leak with another company in July 18, 2012. This first company came out, charged us $90, and indicated on the receipt that there was "no sign of leak" in our basement and call back if there was a problem. No testing was done and water marks were visible on the basement wall and floor. We called this same company back September 26, 2012 with the same concern. The workman came out, performed tests and determined that water was "leaking through the basement wall" and that there was a "pin hole leak" in our pressure tank. The company charged us an additional $130 and said they would give us an estimate for the repair of the problem. As of October 26, we have not received their estimate for repair. <br /> We contacted Lalone October 11,2012 with our concerns and on October 12, Matt LaLone came out to investigate our problem. Matt appeared to have a good idea as to the likely problem. He took the necessary tests, made recommendations, and gave us a written agreementt with an estimate of what the work would cost. We contracted with Lalone to repair the water leak. Matt and his crew came out, October 19, 2012, on time and performed in a workmanlike manner to repair the leak. The pricing was competitive. We commend Angie's List for listing Mike Lalone Inc and have the utmost confidence that when we select a company from Angie's List, we receive quality service and pricing. <br />"

"First visit they determined the problem, provided an estimate, replaced the failed sump pump and provided a temporary solution to the gravel that was entering through the collapsed wall of the sump well so I wouldn't be stranded and have the basement flood. We agreed on a estimate -- labor and parts costs were explained -- and scheduled an appointment for the all day job of jackhammering the basement floor to remove and replace the sump well liner. Ben explained everything clearly throughout the process. Work was done correctly and area was left clean. Sump liner replacement came in under estimate and replacement pump they recommended runs significantly quieter than previous one. <br />"

"I very much appreciated Nathaniel's expert advise and honesty and professionalism. Ends up our washer is in need of about $400 - $500 in repairs and instead of trying to get us to go for that, he recommended we just buy a new one for less than $500 (he recommended one that he just bought for his home). I'm pretty sure that most appliance repairmen would try to sell the expensive repair, but after he clearly explained the situation, I'm certain he's correct. I will use this company for future work (they don't sell appliances, btw, so they aren't making any money when we buy a new one). If their company culture is the kind of honesty, professionalism and trustworthiness that Nathaniel exhibited, I'm confident they'll do a great job for any of our future plumbing, heating, cooling or repair needs."

"This was an amazing experience start to finish. Joe came out to give us a quote. He suggested that we try a couple of different things before getting the waterproofing done just to be sure we needed it before we spent the money. We did end up needing the waterproofing, and we are so glad we used Water B Gone. Everyone at the company worked so hard to be sure the job was done correctly - permits, inspectors, workmanship, etc. They left the worksite in amazing condition - they even replaced the grass and mulch they had taken out to put in the sump pump discharge pipe. Communication was excellent, and they were very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. We cannot recommend this company highly enough. Thanks, Water B Gone!"
