He was the only one of the four who wasn't worried about having to soundproof walls. And he knew from the beginning what needed to be done to get the effect I was looking for. They soundproofed two walls in one room -- a wall that faces the street and is subject to a lot of trash truck noise plus a wall that is shared between my townhouse and a neighbor's. MP Home Repair framed out both walls and put up two layers of insulation. One of the walls had ten feet worth of windows, which meant the crew had to re-do the window frame in the process of framing the wall. The window reframing MP Home Repair did was much better looking than the framing that had been done when the windows were installed a few years ago. Plus, Marcos and his crew were super-meticulous about ensuring any gaps around the window were filled in. With the framing done, they put up wallboard and joint compound on the new walls and painted them. I was really impressed with the appearance of the walls and the sound reduction effect. The result is more than a 50% reduction in the noise from the street. The noises from the adjacent townhouse can no longer be heard. I highly recommend MP Home Repair's soundproofing work!"
