"I had previously talked to 3 contractors about installing a patio, and got quotes from two of them. By the time my HOA finally approved the work, the contractor I chose was no longer able to fit me in a reasonable schedule. I called Julio out to do my yard work, and explained my situation. We had a detailed and productive conversation about what I needed to achieve, which was fix the POOR drainage in my yard. We discussed a rainbow of options, their prices and consequences. I found it refreshing to NOT have a contractor try to force their solution on me. In the end, we decided on a patio that was part of an overall strategy to address the back yard swampland, meaning it required the rerouting of sprinklers, sump pump drainage, and gutters... all for about the same cost as the smaller patio I had previously agreed to. Not only is the patio BEAUTIFUL, but the yard is successfully draining and drying. Julio's communication at every step of the process was punctual and professional, including follow-ups after the job was done. There have been multiple headaches with buying this house, so I am DELIGHTED to have found someone I can trust with the quality of their product and their concern with their customer. "Not only was the job done early and efficiently, they went beyond: after removing a large, old and very hard concrete slab, they even raked the disturbed area AND covered it with straw. It was amazing to see the driver maneuver the truck with flatbed as if it were a tiny smart car. And the way they sawed and removed the slab, was a sight to be seen. Just amazing workers!!!"

"Kevin McCray and his team did a drive through the neighborhood and knocked on my door to ask if I wanted my trees trimmed. I have received several quotes in the past from professional arborist companies which were very high so we could not complete the work even though it was in serious need of being done. McCray's quote was very fair, and while it didn't cover the full extent of work our past quotes had, it covered the main areas of concern for me so I decided to move forward. <br />if you are looking for a place that will provide full written contract and such, this is probably not the service for you. However, if you are budget conscious and just want a job well done, then they are great. Very professional and courteous team, did work safely with no damage to our house or yard and cleaned up after themselves so you can't tell they were even here. Walked through the scope of work before and after to ensure we were on the same page about what was to be done and for what price. And no money exchanged hands until I was walked through and happy with the result. <br /> <br />I can't speak to their other landscaping work as I didn't have any done, but they do offer other landscaping services as well."

"Linda Rominsky Bye BEFORE our Roof was replaced by City Light Construction.Their site manager came and put tarps where it was leaking. He also came and walked the roof with our adjuster. City Light took it from there. Put in their estimate, and it was approved by our USAA insurance. Within days the money for the roof was in our account. City Light took every care to lay tarps and collect the old roof, and cleared all debris. They even took large magnets to scan for dropped nails. They sat and explained the materials they use, which are of the finest quality. The work was done in one day, over the house, and most of our shed. By noon the second day the crew had completed the install. They even painted the furnace stack on the roof black to match the roof. We were impressed with their attention to detail, and everything was done to county construction standards. We are thrilled with our new roof and City Light Construction. We plan to use them for sealing our stamped concrete patio."

"My experience with Greystone was outstanding from start to finish. They installed a large stamped concrete patio with a block retaining wall and widened my driveway. Both jobs turned out fantastic. The driveway took extra coordination with VDOT, and Greystone worked with the VDOT representative and took care of everything. The crews were careful with my yard and brought plywood to minimize the impact of the heavy equipment and materials. When the driveway was installed they took extra care to cover it and protect it from the weather. A separate crew came after each job to clean up, both did an outstanding job. On both projects one of the owners stopped by to ensure things were going smoothly. My experience with the estimate, design, scheduling and installation and with everyone I dealt with at Greystone was outstanding. I'd use them again on any concrete or block project."
