Our deck was destroyed by falling trees during the snowstorm in January. We had a regular wood deck and we thought the damage was extensive. After many contractors Wells was the only one that came by and provided an honest assessment. They didnâ t cut corners for cost purposes, they were just honest and real about what needed to be repaired. The not only repaired our deck, they almost completely rebuilt it. For all intents and purposes we now have a new deck. We were able to upgrade from wood to Trex (due to the current cost of lumber). The folks at Wells even told us about the cost differences in wood and Trex and provided professional advice in helping us upgrade. They never tried to price gouge us, they never took advantage. They arrived everyday on time and completed the work on schedule. Throughout the project they would check in to ask how I felt about their work as the project progressed, and they walked me through once it was completed. During that time before he was in business for himself we had a bad hail storm in Stafford and I received hail damage on only one side of the roof that faced the damaging wind and hail. The insurance company would only replace the damage side. Tim worked with me and I was able to get a total roof replacement. This was a big blessing. Timâ  s company recently replaced a dozen or so siding, on a three story town house that blew off from high winds. I was able to gather all but one of the torn off siding and Tim replaced all of them and matched the one missing one with a new peace. "I looked at several companies over several years for this project. HD Exteriors was responsive. They worked with me to create a design and plan that would work for our area. Other companies provided written information or a quick drawing of the proposed project. HD Exteriors has a computerized program that can visually show the design of the plans. The program provides an opportunity to look at a draft of the completed project. No other company provided the opportunity to see a finished project and then adjust it as needed. HD Exteriors provided a very detailed contract that they reviewed with me prior to the start of the project. They answered questions during the planning process as well as during the construction.
