"We needed to have our 40-year-old bathtub converted into a walk-in shower for my elderly mother and have the bathroom flooring replaced. After an exhaustive search of potential companies, I came across Mako Shower & Bath. Shawn visited us for a consultation and gave us an opportunity to explore the different design options. He was very thorough and provided all of the information we needed about how it would be installed. For accessibility, we decided to have a folding seat and two grab bars installed in the shower. Once all of the parts were delivered to Mako, the install itself took less than a day. The installers, Kevin and Riley, did a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased with the new shower and flooring. It not only looks amazing, it addresses all of the safety and accessibility issues we had with the old bathtub and floor."

"I highly recommend Five Star Bath Solutions. They are first class, outstanding company that did wonderful job for me. The quality of their work was excellent, and their price was excellent. I did a major master bathroom upgrade (completely new shower, new soaking tub, new Wayne's coating). I got quotes from several competitors and Five Star Baths had by far the best design solution, the best materials (their Sentrel product had a far better look and feel than their competitor's acrylic), and a surprisingly lower cost. "We are absolutely in love with our new shower. We hired West Shore Homes to remove our existing tub/shower combo and replace it with a new shower. The installers Jordan and Tim were very customer oriented and technically skilled. They arrived per the schedule and completed the installation in a very reasonable amount of time. All while being courteous enough to answer all of our questions. The installation was very high quality, and included replacement of the existing drywall behind the shower with plywood sheets. This provided a rock solid backing for the acrylic material that we selected. Additionally, all of the components used were of stellar quality. As I indicated, we absolutely love the finished product and have no qualms about recommending West Shore Homes for this type of work."

"The installers seemed to have done a good job. They were extremely fast, only taking one day to completely gut and install the new shower system. Although, one handrail was installed on the wrong side. To correct the issue, they came back the next day to install another free handrail on the correct side. The only complaints that I have are the shower wand sprayed black water for about 30 seconds then stopped working. I removed the wand and the water flowed properly from the pipe. I replaced the ?new? wand with my old shower head so we could use the shower. My only other complaint is that my water pressure is about half of what it was before the installation. Since I had to replace the shower head with my original one, I had a good baseline for this comparison. All in all, we?re happy with our new walk-in shower."

"I have used John E Ruth Plumbers for a number of years. They have always been very fair, professional, and outstanding in the service they provide. It wasn't until today that I realized just how fair they are.
I received an estimate of $849, from another plumber, to have a shower faucet replaced in my bathroom. Because there was no access panel, the job involved cutting out a portion of drywall to get to the pipes that needed to be replaced. The other plumber informed me that I would be required to fix my own open wall.
JER did the job for almost one-third the price - which included installing an access panel in the open wall space. The plumbers that came and did the job were kind and took the time to explain a filter issue that I may experience over time with the shower head I chose. They took the shower head apart and showed me what I would need to do to clean the filter, rather than call the plumbers and pay $150 to have them do it for me.
I felt respected and valued as a customer and knew that I was not being taken advantage of. I cannot say enough good things about John E Ruth Plumbers. I highly recommend them.

"My husband and I were looking to replace our kitchen countertops with stone, but did not have a lot of time for "shopping around".  We visited three Angie's List members in one afternoon, and DMV Kitchen and Bath was the most responsive and helpful.  We found a beautiful granite, quarried locally, and DMV quickly provided an easy-to-understand proposal.  Once our GC reset the kitchen cabinets, the granite installers came out and measured on Friday and installed on Saturday and Sunday.  There was a bit of confusion on whether we needed to seal the granite or not, and once that was straightened out the installers returned on Tuesday (without complaining!) to seal the counters as the fabricators recommended.  All in all we were quite happy with the experience and would recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath to other Angie's List members.

"The project manager of the remodel, Jason, was always in contact with me about when workers would be at the house and to see how everything was going. He also stopped by the house to check on the work. Ismar, the head employee of the job, was very good. He put down tarps to cover the floors and put plastic about the furniture and cabinet in bathroom. He also put up plastic between the bathroom and the bedroom to minimize the dust. The workers were very professional. The tile work in the shower was great. They also had to hang some drywall to fix a closet and paint it. It looks like that was always how the closet was. The shower come out beautiful. I would highly recommend the company and would differently use them again."
