"Nathan was very quick to come out and give us an estimate. Unlike all the other companies that came out, he did not charge us hundreds of dollars just for an estimate. It was free. He was very nice, easy to talk to, didn't push anything "extra" on us or use any scare tactics. He had it drawn up and sent to my email that same day or the very next- either way it was fast. His was the lowest quote we got but also he seemed the most knowledgable about what needed to be done. I believe in "you get what you pay for" and I never just go with the lowest quote but this time we got really lucky with Rainbow. Honestly, Nathan's knowledge and good attitude was what drew us to them over all the others. <br />They were able to start the job within just a few days and an entire group of people showed up and got to work. They installed air scrubbers and vented the air to the outside, and Nathan even threw in an air scrubber for our upstairs living area at no charge after I told him how worried I was that the baby might be breathing all the stirred up mold. They pulled all of our belongings outside and cleaned them by hand, and informed us as to what they thought could not be salvaged and made sure it was okay to discard the ruined items. They removed the wet and soiled insulation. <br />They HEPA vacuumed the entire ceiling and all of the joists of the crawl space which I believe is about 1750 sq. ft.. Then they cleaned it off by hand afterwards with rags and a mold killing solution. After that was all done they sprayed all the wood to seal it to help prevent any re-growth. They then replaced all the insulation and the vapor barrier and got rid of any remaining trash. <br /> <br />I didn't get a chance to meet everyone who was working on the job but the ones I met were very friendly. <br />I hope this never ever happens to us again (the mold was a result of a bad leak from above) but if it does I will call Rainbow and deal only with them. I know they also do a variety of other types of work and I would trust them to do whatever was needing done. <br /> <br /> <br />Above all, having this kind of problem going on in your home is super stressful and having companies bombard you with super high estimates, a lot of it for work that was not necessary at all, just adds to the stress. I knew right away when Rainbow arrived with their big truck and got to work that we made the right choice and could finally relax. <br /> <br />"
