"As the saying goes...."if I could give zero to negative stars I would". This review is not to spite the company but to warn other customers to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! My experience with A1 Glass Beaverton was a comedy of errors....though I am not laughing. It started with an incorrect quote, which I had to call and tell the company about (even though the quote was actually in MY favor). Then I scheduled the window replacement. The written estimate noted that work will be completed 2-4 weeks after written quote. I did not hear from them for 4 weeks and called them to inquire. They said simply the glass was "on order" and they were waiting. After another period of time, I called them and they said they were having a problem with the supplier and they would need more time (they did not bother to pick up the phone and tell me that even though now it was well over a month....going on 2 months). After finally receiving the glass, they scheduled the install on dates when I told them I would be out of town. I received a text in the morning and scrambled to try to find someone to go to the house to meet them. I texted them back questioning why they scheduled it when they knew I was away. Heather sent me a text back saying "I didn't confirm the appointment because I knew you would be overseas". Uhm...well then why did I receive a text saying they were on their way? The appt was then rescheduled to a little over a week later. When the gentlemen arrived to install the glass, they said the measurements that the estimator took were incorrect. After removing my window and trying to make it work, they could not. They simply put my old glass back in the frame and said they could not complete the job and that the office would be in touch. Well, after two weeks I called because no one had called me back. Heather said that "she didn't want to pass the buck, but the installers were supposed to call me back". I then told her that the installers told me that the worn out rubber gasket surrounding the window that was part of the job as per her written email confirmation would not be part of the job "as the gaskets are way too expensive to replace" (said by one of the installers). Really?? You said it was covered and now you are trying to put new windows in a frame with a gasket that is obviously falling apart?? How is this acceptable workmanship PLUS you confirmed in your email that it was included. When I asked Heather about this she said she was new and misunderstood my question about the gasket. I told her to take this situation to the owner as it has now been 3.5 months since I gave them my deposit and that this entire experience was unacceptable. The owner, Bryce, called me back and said that they could not replace the gasket and had no means of sourcing one. REALLY? You are a window company and can't do a gasket on a window? I let him know of my ridiculous experience with his company and he just KEPT repeating that they could not complete the work. The best he could do is give me my deposit back. He made no effort to remedy the problem. So.....now after almost 4 months, I am at ground zero. Thanks for nothing but a hassle."

"I called this company 3 mountains plumbing and asked if they could come give me an estimate as my hot water barely flows. I told them I was a renter and they said they would have to get permission from the landlord before they came out period they called the landlord got permission to come out and do a quote, then call me back to set up a time. My landlord drove from Keizer to Beaverton to be here for that estimate. They called the landlord the day before to confirm again, which he did. My appointment was supposed to be a morning appointment. They said they couldn't guarantee a time, but it would be a 4 hour window between 8 and 12, which didn't happen. Then I get a text from them saying it would be an early afternoon appointment. The technician Tyler himself called me at 1:15 and said he was on his way and would be out here by 2:15-2:30. At 2:45, I called asking where the tech was. The lady said she would have to call dispatch to find out, and someone would call me back. I got a call back saying the tech tried to call the landlord, but he didn't answer, so he didn't come. I told her the landlord was here and had been here all day waiting for them. She said they won't come until they had confirmation from the landlord. I told them he had already confirmed twice, and they said they needed confirmation the same day. I told them he was on my roof working, and that is why he didn't have his phone. I asked why then did the Tech call me himself and tell me he was on his way? The lady said because he called you first before trying the landlord. I said, "ok, then why didn't he call me back to say he wouldn't be coming, and I would have told him the landlord was here?" She said," I don't know, I would be upset too." I asked to speak to a manager, and she said Tim was on the phone, but she would have him call me back. About five minutes later, I get a call from Nicole. I told her what happen and she said that's why I'm calling you to let you know the tech wouldn't be out. I said you're calling me an hour after the fact, and after I called your office twice already to let me know that? I told her I wanted to speak to the manager and she said she was a manager. She said she was going to try to have someone come out, but it was almost four, and it was too late to send someone out. Again, if they were to call like they should have to let me know nobody was coming there would have been time for someone to come out, and I could have told them the landlord was here working on the roof and that's why he didn't have his phone. Not to mention, he already confirmed twice, once just the day before. This company is unreliable and the customer service is horrible! Avoid them at all cost!"

A septic tank typically lasts 15 to 20 years, depending on the materials used, maintenance frequency, and soil conditions. Regular inspections, proper pumping, and careful water usage can extend its lifespan. Professional maintenance ensures your system remains efficient and helps prevent premature failure.
Your septic tank should be pumped every three to five years. In fact, the recommended interval for pumping is every three to five years, as this schedule effectively prevents the buildup of solids and maintains the system's performance. Factors such as household size, water usage, and the capacity of the tank can influence this interval. Adhering to a regular pumping schedule minimizes risks of backups and system overload, ensuring efficient operation and longevity of your septic system.
Your septic system shows signs of failing when you detect noticeable odors and unusual moisture or overly green patches in your yard. In essence, clear indications such as unpleasant smells, gurgling noises from the plumbing, and areas of excessive vegetation or saturation signal that the system may be compromised. Additional symptoms include slow drainage and standing water near the drain field. These warning signs require immediate professional evaluation to prevent severe damage or environmental hazards.
