He was strongly recommended by a friend and Realtor. The roof was leaking and Rufus immediately sent members of his team to tarp the leaking part of the roof It was an old roof and overdue for replacement. The new roof was applied after installing several damaged plywood sheets. We no longer live in the Portland area so this had to handled long-distance. We have confidence in their professionalism."

"Jon and his crew came highly recommended from our friends and neighbors, and they are the best contractors I've ever worked with. We have had an extremely difficult leaking issue with our roof, which multiple companies have attempted to fix. When the leak came back during Portland's sudden monsoon rains, Jon dropped everything and came out to do a quick patch. When that didn't work, he came back two days later with a co-worker, on zero lead, to find the leaks and do a full reshingling. The two cheerily worked into the early dark to fix the roof that day. His rates are by far the best we've seen, and he's just naturally a gregarious guy and an obvious good person who will do whatever it takes for his customers. That's the kind of contractor I want on my side and I cannot recommend him enough."

"I have used NW Shine 3 times and both times have gone well. My roof had a lot of moss on it. The first time they had to clean moss off the roof of my house and treat it. The second and third times they treated the roof and cleaned the gutters. The third time they switched to a new treatment solution that lasts two years, so it will be nice having to wait a little longer between treatments. Since they cleaned and treated my roof, I have not had any moss on it. Overall, I think their price is good and they are able to respond pretty quickly to service requests. This last time they were able to come out within a few days. I also like that they will send me annual service reminders."

"It went really well. I had previously had two wildly different assessments of the condition of our roof. Having a maintenance company rather than a roofer do the assessment was a great idea. He gave a similar assessment of the life left on the roof to one of our previous inspections. This confirmed that we have some years left on the roof and saved us having to get a new roof this year. Worth every penny! Now we have resources to focus on other needed repairs on the house. 
We paid extra because we have a steep roof pitch. I felt this was fair and was clearly stated ahead of time. Very professional. Honest. Didn't try to upsell us. What I expected from the reviews.

The two roofers assigned to my project, Manuel and Sergio, were amazing. They worked very diligently and completed the project in a timely manner. The materials (shingles, etc.) were top-of-the-line. A post work inspection was done and photos taken. My new roof looks great!"
