"Although the chairs are five years old and have been discontinued by manufacturer, Yanuk at Harbros found fabric that was very nearly identical in texture and color.  I was very surprised and pleased.  The chairs are upholstered in an unusually textured, off-white suede material, and the original material is unavailable.  Just the back sides of two of the chairbacks were damaged, and I only wanted those backsides repaired/replaced.  I did not want to have to reupholster both sides of the chairbacks and the seats. The job is so good, that unless I point it out, you wouldn't notice that they have been reupholstered. <br /> Outstanding job.  Thank you, Yanuk.  I definitely recommend Harbros for this kind of work. <br />"

"Denrick told me I would need two yards of fabric for four chairs. I bought Crypton upholstery fabric (because we have two cats that love to scratch upholstery and shed their weight in fur!) which was on sale at joann.com for $20/yd (originally $50/yd). I got a color that went with my living room sofa set. I dropped off the old seats and the fabric at his workshop. He said the original plywood was still in good condition, so he would just need to replace the foam with new 2" thick foam. Denrick called me when the chairs were ready and he delivered the seats to my home. He reattached the reupholstered seats to the chairs with new 1 1/4" coarse thread screws. The new chairs look fantastic and the thicker foam is so much more comfortable than before! This is the first time I have had furniture reupholstered as I had previously never even considered it as an option to replacing otherwise perfectly good furniture, but I am really glad I did!"

"I called them for an estimate and they were able to provide me one over the phone. We arranged a pick up day. They were on time and very courteous. My furniture was ready when promised and both the chair and ottoman look great. The total cost was slightly higher than the estimate because they needed to replace the foam in the ottoman. "LaDonna is the most pleasant person to deal with, she is very knowledgeable, she listens to closely to what you are looking for.  She created several designs for the family room and breakfast area.  She noted the furniture colors and artwork.  She came to my home several times with material patterns and suggestions, both what she recommnded and was honest about what I had wanted :"might not work".  <br /> <br /> Once we agreed on the design and material, it took about 5 weeks to complete the manufacturer.  We had a schedule planned for the installation and due to a family emergency, I had to cancel on short notice.  She was so understanding and accommodating.  When I called her back to reschedule, she was able to very quickly get me back into her schedule.  <br /> <br /> The drapes needed some adjustments, she came out in the evening the next week and fixed them.  <br /> <br /> I love the drapes.  I am still waiting on the plantation shutters; but I added them into the order well after the initial order.   I have no doubt they will be perfect and if not, LaDonna will do whatever it takes to make it right,. <br /> <br /> LaDonna is so sweet and so pleasant and so very professional.  I would definintely recommend her again, she does great work, her prices are very reasonable and she is quick.  She commits to what she says!"

"When we found out we were moving to Houston, we were ready to give up our collection of “make do” furniture after years of traveling abroad for work. Our home was newly built with gray interior walls, white trim and hardwood floors throughout, a blank palette. We wanted to have a coordinated look that reflected us. This is the first time we consulted with a designer. She was upfront with her fees and her process. We viewed this as an investment and, upon reflection; her knowledge and contacts saved us hours of research and searching showroom floors. We discussed what we liked from the rooms featured on her website and then went shopping with her, so she could see what else we liked and how we responded to what she showed us. Missy is easy to talk to and most importantly an excellent listener. Missy showed us what we could achieve through custom upholstery and furniture, something we would not have done on our own. She guided us through the process of selecting unique fabrics that would work together with our chosen selection of chairs, sofas and pillows. We had not used rugs in any of our prior homes and we had a great time selecting them and love the look and function they provide. Missy suggested using shutters on the thirty-two windows in our home. That was a big commitment and the results were stunning. They look great inside and out, function perfectly and appear as though they came with the house. We specifically wanted a library. Missy has a “less is more” approach when it comes to the things we accumulate through the years. We agreed in principle, but told her how much we wanted a library and what that space would mean to us. She suggested a carpenter and together we met and discussed our options and timelines. The built-in white bookcases match the style of our home and maximized the shelf and storage space that we needed. When our books arrived from years of storage, Missy saw what we loved about the space. The rug, chairs, table and decoration perfectly completed the room we had imagined. The media room started with as a big blank square space. With Missy, we found a large comfortable sofa to anchor it. We needed storage in the room in addition to a cabinet to hold a large television. After looking at the options, we chose custom cabinets. They are slightly taller than most of the commercial available, beautifully finished and literally made for the space. We can’t imagine the room with anything else. She selected black lamps, which give just the right amount of light for watching a movie and a rug to tie it all together. Also this room provided the most wall space to hang the art we had bought over the years. She suggested re-framing three prints into the same size and color frame and now we have a statement wall that adds color and tells a story. Missy’s touch is found in every room of the house and on our front porch in the form of two orange rocking chairs and large blue planters. We couldn’t be happier."
