Here is how you know a business cares...when they arrived in the morning and began to unpack their gear, one of the workers noticed a plant inside a pot was drooping. He picked up a large wooden stake I had laying around and pounded it in then re secured the plant so it would stay upright. Geez why didn't I think of that? The actual work was awesome. They spent hours pruning years of dead wood from up inside the trees now allowing sun to filter in and promote new growth. David is a kind quite guy who works along side his guys. Price was excellent. Clean up was great. Will use them again without hesitation <br />"

"I initially called for an irrigation estimate. Pedro/Peter was on time for our first appointment and was professional, polite, and pleasant. While discussing what I needed for the irrigation project, he noticed an overly wet spot in the lawn. He correctly identified the problem as a leak in the main line and, although he said it was probably going to be on my side and my responsibility to repair rather DWP's, he advised me to first contact them anyway to confirm before paying him to start working on it. That engendered a feeling of trust that he wasn't trying to rip me off. Plus I immediately knew he was correct because my tenant had complained of unusually high water bills. He and his brother Frank came the next day and fixed the problem at a very reasonable fee. They worked efficiently and quickly and cleaned up nicely afterwards. They installed my irrigation system satisfactorily and planted plants for me that I purchased from a great nursery recommended by Peter. Also, I had wanted sod but Peter advised me to just aerate the existing lawn (which was very beaten up by the previous tenant), fertilize and reseed in order to stay within my budget. Turns out he was right and my lawn has greened up nicely. Peter and Frank are just plain nice guys and good human beings as well as reliable and trustworthy. I am still an ongoing customer as they now take care of my lawn on their gardening route. I would highly recommend them to anyone."

"I ordered an inspection $80 to be waived if this company did the work. The inspector was very knowledgeable. A report arrived promptly by U.S. Mail as requested. I scheduled the work, but the forecast was for rain, so I called to reschedule. (Water collects under my house in a storm and I didn't want subterranean work done due to risk of injury/presence of water.) There was a lot of push back on this, but the job was later rescheduled. Ole came out and did an excellent job of taking care of the termites. The inspector alerted me to the presence of a rat living in my attic--this was much appreciated and I called an exterminator. Ole reattached my clothes dryer vent, which runs underneath my house. That was also appreciated. His impromptu inspection of my foundation wasn't warranted, in my opinion, as I don't know his qualifications for that type of work."

"Great Job for the Money!!! I called about 10 landscapers and chose 3 to come out to my yard for bids. SB Landscaping came out and gave me the lowest bid and seemed the most professional. They dug holed and added sprinkler, valves, piping, timer , about 3 cubic yards of dirt, some?fertilizer?to my front and side yard. they then seeded my side yard and put sod in my front yard. They added two double king Palms all for about $2000!!! They had a crew of about 5 and got the job done in two days.?"

"From the very beginning of meeting and designing, Kathy and her team were exemplary. I got 4 bids. Kathy listened carefully and created a beautiful plan that was what I wanted. She made excellent suggestions to keep cost down but did not compromise on quality. Ultimately, her work was not the cheapest but it was by far the best from day one to today. Her team were on time, excellent in skill, creativity, problem solving, craftsmanship. The site was clean and secure at the end of each day. I love the final product. "Jay & Janus Pest Management is fantastic!   We recently moved into our 1931 spanish style home and found we had many spiders both inside & outside the house.  We picked them based on their excellent reviews and service award on Angie's list.   <br /> Jay & Janus Pest Management have truly exceeded the excellent reviews they've received on Angie's list!   <br /> We first met Jay in July of 2011.  Like other satisfied Angie's List members, I called for a quote and was happy to receive a quick response from the owner of the company Jay himself.  Jay was very personable and made himself available to meet right away the following Saturday morning since both my husband and I work.  Jay sprayed for pests (including spiders) both inside & outside our home.  Jay also inspected our home for rodents in the attic and below the house.  Jay found and removed a very old rodent carcus on his first visit.  He also indicated possible points of entry for the attic and below the house.  Jay set traps in the attic and below the house.  On his next visit, Jay removed a recently trapped rodent from below the house.  Jay and his associate Michael continued to monitor the rodent problem weekly for the next several weeks.  They diagnosed the problem and shored up the entry points with wire screens to prevent further rodents from entering.  Michael even squeezed himself into an extremely tiny crawl space in our attic to secure one of the wire screens.  Jay & Michael were extremely personable, professional, prompt (often arriving early), efficient, honest, and responsive to our needs.  They also routinely sprayed for pests especially all the various spiders we'd been finding both inside & outside our home.  It made a huge difference in our quality of life and got rid of both the spiders and rodents invading our home.  We are extremely pleased with their service and have already highly recommended them to two of our friends.  We continue to use their services to this day to maintain pest & rodent control.  We are now using them to help trap a pesky raccoon that is tearing up our lawn.  Jay, Michael, and Janus Pest Management is an excellent company that gives fantastic service and pest control while also giving you a very personal and professional experience."
