I discovered that I had some extensive dry rot in my roof.  I was frantic. I needed to get the roof replaced fast.  I called about 8 contractors and left messages for them to call me back so that I could get a bid for repair and replacing my roof.  Only three  bothered to call me back and all 3 gave me a bid.  Two of the bidders said that they couldn't get on my roof until November or December.  I had never used Angie's List before but decided to check it out.  I looked through the listings for roofing contractors and read the reviews.  I decided to call Roof Tech Specialties even though they were located about 60 miles away.  I got ahold of Jamie Stepp.  He told me that he would come by at 1:00 the next day to give me a bid.  The next day at 12:30 he was considerate enough to  call  me to let me know that he would be about 45 minutes later than 1:00.  When he got there, he did a thorough inspection of my house and gave me a bid that was acceptable to me an my wife.  I asked him how soon they could get started.  He told me in two weeks.  I was elated.  A couple days later Jamie called me and asked if they could get started on  the next day.   WOW!!   The crew arrived on schedule and went right to work.  The job took 3 days and these were the hottest days of this Summer.  I supplied the crew with Ice water that was much needed.  I will have to say that all of the crew we really great.  Jamie over saw the work and worked along with the crew.  I am very pleased with the job that they did.  They cleaned up after themselves and there was not a trace of the old roofing left any where around my property.  I have a two and a half car garage that also needs a new roof and Jamie and his men are going to replace that roof soon.  I will certainly be recommending  Roof Tech Specialties to anyone else that I know that is needing a new roof.

"From the bidding process to contract signing to completion of job was top notch. During bidding, Aylwin representatives patiently answered questions and revisited the property several times to clarify issues. An amended bid was prepared to respond to developing information. After contract signing on a Monday we asked that our job be done in June as we were very flexible. On Tuesday they called, offering us a start on that Wednesday! From contract signing to completion took 4 days! That was astounding. Our house was easy so the job could fit among more complicated work. Bradley's crew of 7 to 9 members did all the tear off, plywood repairs and new underlayment in one day; all shingles and venting in day two. We were kept in the loop at each step and had everything explained. Each day they cleaned our lot of debris. A great job from start to finish."

"Redbird Roofing was great to work with. They have excellent communications in scheduling (and rescheduling) work. They are reasonably priced and Taylor did an excellent job repairing my roof. I'd highly recommend working with them."

"Asael was very responsive and arrived at the stated time. He provided the quote at the time he stated he would. He gave us a timeline and their team was actually able to start our roof a day early (after calling to confirm that was ok). Their team was very good to keep us informed of the plan, and they left the area around our house very well cleaned. JLV also used quality materials. We are very happy with our new roof and would highly recommend JLV Construction!"

"I live on the Oregon coast and had a new roof installed in 2015. It had persistent leak issues that the contractor could not/did not fix. Romvil repaired the leaks, re-built rotted out interior and exterior walls, and replaced our interior sheetrock. They were very clear about letting us know exactly what they knew we needed to have done, before they did it. They showed us computer generated plans that explained why we had problems and what they were going to do. They were totally honest about cost and made sure we had agreed to what it would cost before they did the work. I will gladly. hire them again!!!"

"Great Job! everything went as planned and the roof looks awesome."

"We very much appreciate the service we received from FIX IT UP RIGHT CONSTRUCTION and Alex. Alex was on time, is personable, knowledgeable, and represents the company very well. He updated us during the roof leak repair and made suggestions to ensure that the repair would last. We will call this company again should the need arise. Thank you so much."

"Errors in the original estimate and following procedures kept raising the cost even when we got bigger and bigger discounts. Rafter work needed to be done and we knew we upfront we may incur extra costs so we gave the go-ahead to fix that--what else were we going to do at that point. The additional work seemed incredibly excessive. When questioned, the salesperson explains there was a set fee per square which included removal of two layers of old shingles, removal, and replacement of sheathing for the entire roof. For the additional rafter work, they were charging the per square rate which we had already paid for...they were charging us for removing and replacing twice. The rafters were exposed and required only the additional rafter work. We were livid. They sent out someone else to negotiate and we still paid more for the extra work than we wanted. I believe the actual work performed was good."
