"I called back on Monday, Donnie came out that afternoon and the price was great, he was professional and pleasant. The installers came Tuesday. A friend was at the house as I had to work and he kept calling me with things to ask Donnie. Donnie never sounded irritated and always said you are the customer and we want you to be happy. The issue required the technician to come back after he left Tuesday and he was pleasant as well even though it was already late. This technician couldn't identify why the unit was registering the correct numbers (my friend identified this issue, I would never had know, they left and all seemed fine). The technician was coming back Wednesday morning ( I had to take a day off of work) but Donnie first had another technician come to the house that evening. They found the copper pipes or whatever goes under the house was the problem and they needed to install new pipes through the attic. They never showed any disrespect or tone that wasn't professional and made me feel like the customer did come first. It took a lot of time and someone else to keep pushing the issue (my friend did A/Cs in Texas so he knew things luckily). When they say it isn't really the A/C that fails it is the installation, this could have been one of those. Thanks Service Star for great service. Luckily it isn't hot out but I can't really test the system but we will!"

"I had already done an initial repair and freon recharge with another company (mainly because they did the original installation and their logo was on my unit) however I definitely needed a second, or in this case third, opinion on my options.  With the first company, the
bill with the recharge was $450!

I found ServiceOne on Angie's list and contacted them to set up a service a second service call.  Jorge arrived on time, was very professional and did a thorough job on the inspection and Freon refill - yes, I needed more after just a couple weeks.  After further discussion (and he was now the third company to tell me this), I had 2 options.  Take a chance on replacing just the inside coil where the leak was occuring (unit is 9 years old) or replace the whole system.  I asked that they send out a project manager to give me a quote on the whole system.  Otto came out a day or so later, did a check on the system and walked me through my options.  He was also on time, did a great job of going through the issues and also discussed a couple items no one else did.  Definitely gave me a bit of an education on AC units!  After much thought I decided that I was going to chance it with just to coil but unfortunately went with the original service as they reduced their price since I had already given them a bunch of $$.  I say "unfortunately" because I was very impressed with ServiceOne but since I was just replacing the coil I decided to stick with a slightly lower price with the original installer.  If, well really when, I need to replace my entire system ServiceOne will be my first call for sure!  Thank you - we will definitely do business again....

"/C This company was highly professional. I am in a different city than the house that needed work so everything was done by phone. I called them on Friday about a problem with my air ducts and they told me it would be Monday before they could get out there.  I didn't hear back from them Monday during the day so I called the on call guy and he took my information. He called me back within the hour to let me know that someone had gone out and had tried to get back with me but they had the wrong phone number.  Anyway, I contracted to have everything done that was recommended and also asked to have my other A/C unit and the ducts cleaned. They performed the work two days later.  I was given a very reasonable price and was quite please with the technicians.
