"Project started out well with great communication to set up initial appointment for quote. The overall job turned out well; but once they won the business, the project was mismanaged and communication was poor. There was an overall lack of supervision on the project. It was scheduled for late November. At the time of scheduling, I asked if job would be negatively affected by snow and cold weather and if I should wait to schedule until Spring the following year. I was assured that winter weather would not cause a problem. Luckily, the concrete was poured prior to several snow storms, but the concrete was not sealed until Spring the following year. The project entailed replacing all sidewalks, a driveway and building a raised patio. The patio measurements were incorrect twice. The second incorrect measurement led to my underground sprinkler line being cut. My sprinkler line was also cut in a second location in spite my pointing out where the underground sprinkler lines crossed under the concrete. Hoses were dragged through my garden with no regard for above ground misters. Several were snapped off. The repair bill when sprinkler system was turned back on in Spring was high, and Legacy agreed to reimburse me for some of the damages. They never followed through in spite of my calling in to check on reimbursement."

They handled the tear-out and replacement of a 4,000-square-foot driveway and a small patio, both of which were slightly expanded in size. Their design input and suggestions truly improved the final layout and function of the space. The finished product looks fantastic — clean, well-graded, and beautifully done. "The crew arrived promptly on the scheduled date. Old concrete was removed as was a layer of underlying clay. A recycled concrete base was spread and compacted. I believe that when properly compacted recycled concrete is superior to other bases. Welded wire was installed and raised as concrete was poured. I prefer this to re-bar; particularly given Colorado environment and soil. The concrete used was as good or better than any I've seen. The installation crew did a superior job. The driveway and pad are showpieces. Finally, the crew did a noteworthy job in cleaning up the site. Having poured a good deal of concrete some fifty years ago, I believe I am qualified to identify first-rate material and workmanship. EnviroShapes demonstrated both throughout the course of this project."

Daniel has been doing concrete work for twenty years and was good with the repairs and keeping his crew on assignment. The color choices were limited, however, the price was within budget and with a few changes to their contract the details were covered. Of last note, I would recommend that the side walls next to the project be masked off to protect from over spray."

When I contacted Lucy about our concrete job, she responded very quickly and provided me with photos of recent work along with a list of references to contact. That really impressed me, as I've never worked with a contractor who provided that information upfront.

She and I corresponded for about a week discussing the scope of work, and I provided photos and some basic measurements for her to give me a and quot;ballparkand quot; figure for the cost of the job. Once I decided to hire her, she came to the house to see the job in person, take measurements and discuss some of the design elements of the patio and front stoop. Once we finalized our contract, her foreman got started on the work right away, he and his crew had the work done within one week and it turned out very well. As with any project there were a few minor bumps and small delays, but they worked through it, communicated very well and did a fantastic job.
