"I had an Angie's List Big Deal for Dryer Cleaning and Inspection.  Anthony was very professional and friendly, and I appreciated that he showed me what was in my dryer vent before he got started and explained the ins and outs of the process.  He made sure that all of the debris was out of our dryer vent (even vacuumed it out a second time to remove some residual pebbles that were rattling around) and also vacuumed all of the dust and dryer lint (there was a lot of it) from our previous owner that was behind and under the dryer unit.  I was very pleased with his services and may also call Busy Bees for a carpet cleaning in the near future.

Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

"We have had several heavy rains and our basement is still dry!  This company was informative and  patient, they did not try to pressure me into signing a contract.  We got an estimate from Thompsons and Value Dry, but Value Dry left without even giving us an actual estimate!  They (Value Dry) wanted to know what our budget was before they'd even give us a ballpark price!
Jeff from Thompsons gave us a very reasonable estimate right away and was patient with questions that we had in the following week, while we were deciding whether or not to have the work done.  When we did sign the contract, they were willing to work around our schedule and got the job done very quickly.  They were very nice and cleaned up very well afterwards.  We are so glad that we went with Thompsons and wish we had done it sooner!  Its such a relief to not have to worry about coming home to a wet basement every time it rains."

"Heavy thunderstorms this year plus Sandy last year.  We started seeing water marks on the ceiling in several rooms, particularly in the living room near the fireplace.  On a Friday afternoon, checked Angie's list called a company that did not return the call, checked the list again and called OC Elite Construction.  Jon came over Saturday, looked on the roof and checked in the attic - found the problem(s) and provided an estimate.  The next day, SUNDAY!, OC Elite came to the house in the morning and completed all the work we needed done.  Thanks to Jon and his crew fro a quick and professional solution.

"After I purchased the property, I discovered that the master bathroom floor was rotted and leaking through the cieling.  Hardy Boys were tasked with completely ripping out everything, and rebuilding a more modern and effecient bathroom, including a custom walk in shower. 
Though originally the project was scheduled several months out, they were able to fit me in way ahead of schedule.  From start to finish, their crew was effecient, friendly, knowledgeable, and an overall pleasure to have in my home.  They cleaned up each day, went out of their way to ensure the work impacted my day to day routine as little as possible,  and worked with me every step of the way ensuring we remained on the same page.
The only real problem that came about, was when a plumbing valve was discovered to have been damaged at some point in the construction.  Their plumer went well above and beyond in attempting to repair, and assisting in aquiring and replacing the damaged part as quick as possible.  
Overall,  between the quality of the work, and their expertise in placement and layout,  my outdated bathroom was transformed from a leaky throw-back to the 70's,  into a beautiful and relaxing environment that I am sure will be enjoyed for many years to come.
