"On this last visit Scott Barnhill worked on our irrigation system and drainage. This had been his 6th visit or so to our property and we are very pleased with him. Each visit lasts about 5 hours for which we are charged $250.00 and he performs a great variety of services. We have had him repair plumbing leaks, install grab bars in tiled showers, install sink popups, correct improper wiring in outlets, install GFI outlets, trace wiring circuits and hang large and heavy pictures/paintings in addition to replacing the garage wall unit for the irrigation system, digging up and replacing irrigation heads and crawling under my house to investigate drainage issues. His ability to perform so many different tasks in a professional and courteous manner at reasonable rates makes him a very desirable service provider.

"MA Design and Construction did a wonderful job on our kitchen and main floor remodel. Marc and Raquel helped my husband and I to vision an open floor concept, and they were available beyond their normal business hours to answer both design and installation questions (which we had quite a few). We felt comfortable to both call and text frequently to keep communication open, and they were willing to offer as much design input as possible to make those important decisions much easier. Even when issues arose (as is to be expected with major house projects), Marc was usually at the house that day or the following day to assess the issue and come up with solutions. The workers were polite, punctual, and professional (especially the painting team) who we grew to love! We will certainly use them for future house projects."

He also did a wonderful job painting our doors inside and out and painting our archways. He was always on time, professional and knowledgeable. "Very well! Matthew our assigned project manager was very thorough and respectful. He kept our property guarded! We had a few people pop by the house to "check" things out and he respected our home. He called to see if these people were allowed on the property. He and I traveled through the house where he showed me how the work was being conducted. He also showed me problem areas. And explained throughly how it would work. There were about 5 guys working in the dead heat of July! where days it was almost unbearable. I was onsite 2 days here and there where I provided beverages and popcicles to cool off. They were able to complete the work a day a head of schedule! Now that we're into November. I have to say that my floors feel fantastic. No bowing. No bouncing. Plus their work is Lifetime!! So if we ever feel a problem we know just who to call!"

"My wife and i went to our beach house in September thinking of getting estimates for remodeling our kitchen.  We were hoping to find someone that would be able to complete the remodeling during the month of September while we were there.  We also wanted to remove carpeting in the home and install laminate flooring but thought we would wait until next April to have that work done.  The kitchen was a priority because of having to relocate a bar counter and remove an island cook top.  This would have to be done before any flooring could be installed.  We called a few contractors found on Angie's List and David Mawra from South End Remodeling was our chosen contractor.  We explained what we wanted to have done in the kitchen and he was able to satisfy all our questions.  We agreed on a price and was assured the work would be done within our time frame.  We told him of our plans for the flooring next Spring and indicated that we were purchasing the materials from Lumber Liquidators.  He asked if we would consider him to do the flooring installation and showed some pictures of other jobs he has completed.  We already had a quote from Lumber Liquidators and David gave us a very competitive quote.  David also assured us that he could do the entire job including the flooring within our time frame.  We agreed to have the work done by South End Remodeling.  The work started that very same afternoon.  David and his Associate, Larry were very professional and very easy to work with.  They made some recommendations as the work progressed and were receptive to any changes in the scope of the work that my wife and I made.  They worked consistently during the week and were able to have the entire job including the flooring installation completed within two and a half weeks.  We were very impressed with South End Remodeling and pleased with the final product.
