"Install was simple and took a modest amount of time. Still need to install an outlet in a cabinet to hide the power cord for the keypad. The alarm is loud, but not audible outside the house. Consider an add-on unit if you want to alert the neighbors. Signal range is less than ideal for some window sensors; a repeater (most any 2gig module that is hardwired) of some sort will likely help. Motion sensors are cheap looking and do not inspire confidence. Tech support answered quickly and walked me through a technical question about adding a second keypad to the system. Cellular communications are far superior to ADT system at previous house. I do not like the contract renewal clause."

"I received the system on time, set up was fairly easy. Activation support was superb and in the month since the alarm was activated it has worked flawlessly. I like the fact that I can check, arm and disarm the system remotely. I receive a text very quickly every time the alarm is armed or disarmed. There is a monthly fee of $39.99 and the basic cost of the kit was $99.00, a motion detector, panel, camera equipped motion detector, 4 door alarms, a panic button key fob, stickers and signs."

She was on time for her appointment to review the home and provided a competitive bid. We chose to go with 36 months of prepaid service at the time of installation. About half of my cost is equipment and half is prepaid service. Everything went on line smoothly. It is wonderful to have access to the security system via internet or cell phone. The only glitch experienced was access to the thermostat. One phone call to their customer service was all it took to get that properly activated. <br />"
