"Booth designed a quality patio cover & then scheduled it. They advised me of minor changes along the way. The installer, Bob, did a great job of completing the project with a quality finish."

"I have never used a company personally for concrete grinding. Working in the construction inspection industry my expectations were high from the get go. The two gentlemen, performing the service, arrived to my residence early and were very professional. After assessing the area requiring the leveling / grinding, they went right to work. They were knowledgeable of ADA specifications and went over and beyond with the work performed. I was beyond satisfied with the finish product. I felt I got my money's worth and found a solid / trustworthy company in the end. <br />"

"We interviewed several companies to redesign the drainage and resurface our pool deck. Imagine demonstrated, by far, the best grasp on what needed to be done. They communicated exceptionally well throughout the job, and were creative when running into any unexpected gotchas. Their foreman regularly checked in with the crew and always came by to inspect each phase of the job. The work was excellent and we are thrilled with how the new decking looks. Best of all, they came in on time and under budget. Great customer service and a quality company."

"I had Arrowhead Deck and Concrete pour over 1000 ft of new concrete around my pool with a cantilever edge. I also had them replace the water-line tile in my pool. Finally I had them apply and texture with an acrylic coating to reduce surface temperature (and it worked). Very happy with the quality, communication, and value. Picture attached."

"Added another 100 Sq ft for another $800. Wood deck was demo'd and concrete poured but they ran out of mud and was short 8 inches so they took off $20. Workers never came back to complete clean up or finished removing the outline boards. Entire job was messy. Have overflow of concrete on my pavers, splatter on my house, and wooden stakes concreted into the ground that I cannot remove. Tried multiple times to contact Roger regarding original scheduling, timing, and eventually clean up and rarely heard back. Last time I spoke with him was about a refund for clean up since I had to do all of it because his guys never came back to finish the work. And I never got my refund. The concrete pour and slab are great but overall the lack of communication and clean up was an amazingly huge disappointment."

"I can't say enough good things about this company. Over 4 years ago they ground down the flagstone on our patio and coated it. It looked beautiful. There was a 5 year warranty. Our patio gets a lot of water and three years ago ilthe covering was spotty. We called the company and there was no hesitation on their part. They came out right away and redid the patio. Last week we called them again as there was.a lot of water damage on the patio. Again, without hesitation, they came out and redid the patio one.more time. Here is a company that does not hesitate to stand by their work. After.the latest visit, they did state that they were not doing outdoor flagstone sealing. I don't blame them. But they do backup there work."

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Gila Bend, AZ

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
