"I contacted several tree trimmers to complete a job. This profession is extremely busy in our area. Optimum is no exception. If you have an emergency they might be able to respond quickly, but for regular trimming or maintenance the scheduling could be  3 to 4 weeks. While they did respond to calls and emails, it does take a day or 2. The team is professional and courteous. If I did use them again it would be for removal only. If they park on a hard surface, put a tarp down. The vehicles leak fluids.

"Brandon and his crew of 3 brothers( not his brothers) came and discussed the plan for the landscaping. 
First, they removed the tree and ground up the roots and stump.  Next, they asked to determine where we wanted the shrubs and started digging the holes. 
They ran into a problem with a confusing drip system and they had to reroute it before they could plant the shrubs.  They asked us to help choose which side of the shrubs we wanted facing the windows.  There was lots of kidding with the three brothers, and it was fun to listen to them. 
Next, they did the removal of the red yucca and then they asked us the deicide which arms of the cactus needed to be removed.
Clean up took awhile and Brandon and us went over the bill because we decided to not have some of the plants put  in the ground at that time.  He gave us the 10% discount on our bill and only charged tax on the plants he had to buy at the nursery. 
We learned some of his background and he was always calm, couteous, and asking for our input.  I told him I had anxiety about having someone I didn't know do the work, but It was an excellent experience and I would recommend him to anyone.

"We had a complete closet demo and remodel.
Complete Tub fixture replacement. 
Downstairs replacement of baseboards of center island & pantry baseboards.
These were just a start of the items we wanted to begin.  After the visit, we were told that we would have an email with examples of closets and associated estimates. No email or phone call was provided after the visit. Very odd considering that they were recommended so highly in the community.  

---Do not know if this is any relevance or not, but we are an LGBT family and it very obvious to us while making the appointment that this is a Christian organization. This made no difference to us, as we just wanted the jobs completed.---

Update: The owner and his daughter personally visited us this evening and profusely apologized for his company dropping the ball. He reiterated that his company does not discriminate and asked for a second chance to earn our business. He seemed genuinely upset and wanted to assure us that he valued our business. We believe him and want to encourage others to give this company a chance to earn your trust. "

"1. All trees went well, except two.  I wanted them cut so they were roof level and thinned.  Two of the trees hang over the roof and are much higher.  One tree was not thinned.
2. We were told our watering system was too close to the trees. so we said OK and  they moved all the watering points back, all went well except this put our front tree in stress and it loss all of its leaves.  They did come out to try and save the tree, which had a positive outcome.
3. Landscape lighting system was never fixed. We had a diagnosis done and we decided to have them fix the problem. They had to come out 4 more times to repair the original problem, but now 4 lights are very low light.  We chose not to have them come out again.  The workmanship was poor, so bad, they had to have someone come out to redo the first work on the electrical, and while we waited, we had to screw the box to the house so it would not fall over.
4.  We had two irrigation leaks, they had to come out 3 times to finally fix them. We finally dug the hole to show them the one leak.
5. An interesting note, I told the original Salesman, that I wanted water to the courtyard for 10 pots.  He said "we would have to run 10 lines".  That is when I should have said no and gone somewhere else.
6, Response time was not to my level of customer service.  Sometimes we had to wait 3 weeks for someone to come out. I would never do this in my business.  
I was very disappointed, but they were very nice and professional and did  fix everything, except the lighting, as we choose not to call them. I did not notice the trees until later and decided it was not worth my time to have them re-trim the trees..
