"Andy picked up right away when I called to ask if he could take a look at my roof which had developed a tiny leak the night before. He said he could come out the very same day. When he arrived a few hours later he told me the roof was in good shape and should last another 7 years or so (the roof is 20 years old). The leak was being caused by a pipe boot which had deteriorated. He told me he'd get back to me later in the day with an estimate to replace the boots as well as to clean moss which had grown in a few areas. He ended up calling back a few hours later to say he could come out and replace the boots in an hour (he could schedule the roof cleaning within the next few weeks). So by the end of the day on the day I called he made the repair. He carefully explained what had to be done and how to do it properly and thought to use extra shingles I had stored in the basement. He was extremely nice, courteous, prompt and professional. He provided top notch service. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

"Here's my story. I built most of my home and roofed or reroofed it over the last 30 years. It was time to the entire house once more. I've reached the point where I had no interest in hauling shingles up a ladder on my "free" time. Enter Angieslist. I contacted some 8 roofers or roofing companies with reviews with "A" ratings. Yes I read the reviews. Some sent sales people to sell me on the materials. Some came to look it over. Few actually measured. Dave calls and says he can stop by a Sunday. Perfect. He's the only guy who actually goes up on my roof. I asked all the others. Not one felt the need to. Hmmm. I want to show them my problem areas. I did tell them I built a large part of my house. Nope they'll spitball it. I'm pretty picky about the work I have done. [Engineer by trade]. I also want the guy I talking with to be on site while the work is done. Sending me a salesman is not what I want. I don't care about warranties. Like I'm going to get into a lawsuit with GAF. Use quality, name brand materials and I'm good. I also don't need some college kid or other on my home. So long story short I hire Dave. He does everything and more. On time. Professional. Cleans up every day. I liked him so much that some siding needed replacement and he came back and did that between other jobs. My only gripe is that he's so popular [with good reason] that I had to wait a couple months. Wish he installed driveways..."

"Barn Rescue – My barn was hit by a vehicle, which broke a large post and pushed section of siding out from under the roofline, plus major damage at ground level. Brad shored it up for the winter with an array of jacks and an enormous chain to ensure the thing wouldn’t fall down till they could return in the spring. Come spring, they fully replaced the damaged section’s support members and facade, and added bracing to the attic, rendering it stronger than before. Foundation support: The sagging beams and jerry-rigged support columns in the dirt basement of our 18th century house were inadequate. "Sam, the owner, although busy with many other jobs, came within a couple of hours of my calling his office when he heard that water was coming into the house from the roof. He performed all the work himself. Sam explained everything he was going to do, was very pleasant and professional. Will have him return in Spring to do a heat wire installation to prevent ice damming again. I highly recommend Sam and his company.

"Generally, I was pleased with the work. There were some scheduling issues (scheduled to start on a day, but didn't read through the texts to confirm, so didn't show up that day), but once they started the work, it was done in relatively good time. There was a pricing issue as well, in that we had contracted to have the siding repaired and replaced, but we didn't notice that the estimate did not include painting. When we asked about painting, we were told it was no problem. Once we received the quote for the painting however, we decided it was too much money, and said not to do the painting (via phone conversation and via text). The painting was done anyway, and though the cost for it was more than we had wanted to pay, it was already done and so we were stuck with having to pay additional money for it (though David did reduce the cost somewhat, which was helpful). There was also a quality issue with the work. However, when we called David and told him about the issue, he came to our house immediately to work through it, then stayed at the house with his employee and made sure everything was corrected. I was very impressed with David's willingness to correct mistakes and make sure we were satisfied. I would hire Rhinosite again, but I would be extra-extra-diligent in any and all communications with them."
