"The company was very fast, efficient, and very professional. I had to have my sewer pipe replaced, so they had to dig up my laundry room and bedroom floor. About a 1’1/2” wide of concrete floor They fixed the pipe and repaired the cement floor and cleaned up all of there mess. The workers were very nice and did a great job. And very far price. I’m very happy with their work. Would highly recommend this company. "

"Ongrade plumbing and excavating was a god send. Unbelievable how clean and professional they were from start to finish on my sewer line replacement. They did their best to protect my grass with plywood and did a very good job cleaning up given the huge pile of dirt! Thier pricing was amazing compared to some of the other estimates I received from other company's. Highly recommend to anyone for any of thier home or business plumbing issues "

"The crew arrived on time. Work was started and they asked to see the relevant connection in the crawl space. Digging down 5 ft to get to the base of the meter connection. Put plywood down to load dirt on to. Installed new copper (!) to replace leaking plastic. Covered all and even replaced shrubs! Excellent work."

"It was ok.  They were professional and knowledgeable.  They told us there was some rust on the unit and that we should just replace it.  He  showed me and explained everything thoroughly.  We went ahead and replaced it.  He recommended a unit that would reduce energy.  Our energy bill was cut in half.  They helped us get it financing through GE.  I have recommended them to them other people."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Gilcrest, CO

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
