"After 15 years in my current home, I was finally getting granite countertops. I was so excited. I went to Paramount on the advice of a friend who had used them. From the start they were very helpful. They answered any and all questions I had. I looked at multiple granite places, and I ended up selecting my granite at another business. Paramount did an excellent job coordinating the delivery of the granite to their site in a quick and efficient manner. The gentleman that came to measure our kitchen was professional and on time. Paramount allowed me to come down to the company and they put up all three slabs they were using for my kitchen and put the template of my counters, island and desktops on them. They were patient and helpful in deciding where to cut the granite to get the maximum effect I was looking for. (Lots of movement). Along the way, I made changes - edges of the granite, backsplash changes and added sinks and faucets. They patiently updated my invoice and emailed me the updates to the project within an hour every time.  I never felt they were frustrated or upset with me, and they treated me with respect. The installers were on time and professional.  They did an excellent job and I love it. I have had many compliments on them and wouldn't change a thing. "A bedroom light-ceiling fan combination was shorting and wired differently than our other room fans.  Previous experiences with Cady Handyman made it an easy decision on whom to call for service.  I was able to a get a repair appointment-- at a time that works for someone with a day job-- within three days of calling.  Though the old amateur wiring job was a mess, Tom thought through the repair and had it done to expectations in reasonable time (including a trip to the hardware store for parts)."

"We have been very impressed with the provider.  He is an excellent communicator and has kept us updated on when the work would be done.  Once scheduled, the work in our laundry room was completed very quickly.  We were not 100% sure on what exactly would look best for our room and the provider was very patient and diligent when helping us determine dimensions for the counter top and the walls.  The provider did a great job matching the paint to the rest of the laundry room and ensuring that the overall "look" was consistent with the cabinetry we had installed ourselves.

It took 90 minutes to do the electrical work and about 4 hours to complete the counter top.  The provider worked very cleanly and was respectful to our home.

We have been very pleased with this provider and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor."

"Our experience with Hal was wonderful.  He has fantastic design vision, attention to detail and produces high quality products for an amazing value.  We were so impressed with the work that he did. that we are already thinking of additional projects.  In addition to the larger projects, he also worked with us to complete some small maintenance projects around the yard - refurbishing some Adirondack chairs, light fixtures, etc.  Other reviewers have captured the considerations on how to best work with Hal: have a point of view, but your project will come out even more amazing if you take his design feedback into account, communicate clearly and often, but be flexible on your timeline, to account for weather and unforeseen delays.  Wonderful experience, highly recommended!"

"Even though I have read some negative comments about their plumbing's prices, I wanted to give them a chance as I had a fairly good experience on the HVAC side. Unfortunately, I am afraid the comments were right! I called them for a leak in my basement related to a water drain from the second floor bathrooms. Before starting, Matt explain to me he had to go through a "pluming diagnostics" of the entire house and systems that is a flat fee of $497 (based on the age of the house) for: Unlimited Time to find the problem, One level 1 to 2 repair included with diagnostic, performance check, whole home water quality analysis, including chlorine, water hardness, and total dissolved solids, confirmation that system is safe, reliable, and energy efficient, Applies to equipment 6-20+ years old, main drain, water pressure/water temperature over 1500 sqft, tankless water heater. Basically a fee to "find the leak" and anything else that could be wrong in my house in order to give me suggestions for additional repairs that go on top of the "diagnostic fee", unless it is a level 1 or 2 repair that you probably never have anyway...! I my case Matt's listed 3 options: - $4.193 (repair copper drain, new washing machine hoses, install pressure valve and new 50 Gal water heater) - $1.467 (repair copper drain, new washing machine hoses, install pressure valve). Meaning $2.726 for the water heater alone. Or $631 (repair copper drain, new washing machine hoses). Meaning $836 for the pressure valve alone! I told him I could do the machine hoses myself and asked him how much it would be just to fix the leak => $364. That means the charge to change 2 $10 hoses is $267!! By the way, they don't deduct the $79 service call if you are not part of the Membership Program, charge an additional $14 for "Transfer Fuel Surcharge" and didn't discount the $50 coupon. Bottom line my invoice was $497 + $79 + $14 + $364 = $954. Fortunately, I talked to Kristy from Customer Service the following day and got the $50 coupon applied and got an additional $50 off after my open and direct discussion with her. Thank you Kristy. Still, I believe the all process was a bit complicated for a leak and would have to try a different plumber next time. Further more, what's going on with the "Plumbing Diagnostic" fee if they have to come again later on during the year for another issue? I surely wouldn't need another "check" of my entire house..."

"Paul did a fantastic job. He was easy to work with, cared about our expectations, was creative in his suggestions, and he was very detailed in his workmanship. He also checked in a few times throughout the week to see if we had any questions or had any comments for him.  Our rooms were initially dingy, outdated, and closed in; now we love being in the new updated space!  It's modern, fresh, open, and bright. We will definitely call up Paul again for any upcoming remodel project.
