"They installed about 160 feet of redwood privacy fence with three gates and an additional gated enclosure for a heat pump. For the wood fence itself they did excellent work. Quality material and accommodated some unusual features which meant the entire job was done by one contractor. The owner suggested and installed special gate latches that allow entry with a code on a keypad, which actually got them the job. Their failing was the crew doing the work did not understand how that special gate latch worked, and how to construct a gate to properly use it. I am handy with tools so I was able to spend a day to modify and add to their work to make the latch work. Not everyone is in a position to do that. They over-promised in that crew doing the actual installation needed more guidance for a completely successful installation. So if you have a standard fence and gates with standard Home Depot style hardware, I would recommend them. But if you need something unusual they really are not able to handle it and you need to plan to get that skill set elsewhere."

"I was impressed by David's knowledge in our first meeting when he surveyed the house exterior to gather information needed for his quotation. As the painting preparation progressed, it became obvious that I need repairs due to water damages and termites. David took care of all the repair work and worked closely with me and Terminix to treat the termite infestation before completing the painting of the wood siding of one of my second story rooms. David was very accomondating and helpful in offering solutions and implementing them. David helped me to create a water barrier solution eliminating water damages at the bottoms of two posts supporting the second floor structrure and the bottoms of the wood sidings of my storage shed. David was patient listening to my questions and suggestions to obtain the best solution to my problem. My next door neighbor also hired David to paint his house and repaired the termite-damaged patio cover. I am very satisfied with his work and he is my "go-to" painter for my exterior surfaces of my house."

"Bill and the rest of the Fine Point team were incredible.
They sanded and repainted a large kitchen with stained oak cabinets. Since the oak didn't take the paint like other woods, they applied an extra coat of primer and and extra finishing coat to make sure that it looked the way we hoped. They used a spray, which helped give the cabinets a professional, uniform coat. They look fantastic.
When the paint dried, some of the cabinets didn't close properly. This is not a criticism?when we told Bill, he came by the next day to fix those that were misaligned (which could have happened in any project), so the final kitchen looked perfect.
The whole team was really friendly. They put in extra hours to make sure the job was done well, and honored their initial estimate, which was completely reasonably compared to some estimates we received.
They touched up several areas of the house. When we couldn't find a matching paint for the upstairs bathroom, Bill repainted the entire wall with another paint, and he did it for a nominal fee.
What can I say? The team was patient with us as clients, thorough with the job, and masters of the craft. Our house looks fantastic, and I'd hire them or recommend them in a heartbeat.
