"I can’t say enough good things about Patrick Bernard of Bernard Masonry. He isn’t just a mason, an artisan. He’s an artist. I wanted a brick walkway on the side of my house. Patrick was the second contractor I talked with, and after meeting him I didn’t need a third. He answered every question, allayed every concern and provided a detailed, satisfying bid. I watched as Patrick and his crew – Brandon and Tom – moved methodically from one phase of the project to the next. Patrick put down the bricks in a herringbone pattern. Each brick and part of a brick was placed very carefully and precisely. They had to take apart the fence gate to make room for the excavator. They put it back together better than it was. Patrick and one of his crew were on-site on time every morning and worked til evening. He said it would take five days, and it did. The cleanup was so thorough, there is no evidence they’d been there. Hire him and you’ll have no worries. These guys are good."

"Scope of project: 1) reset/regrade pavers stones in front walkway and back patio area that were displaced by new driveway and trenches, 2) install drain in low spot connecting to an existing drain, 3) demo a platform of pavers next to the garage to make even with the rest of the patio. I chose him over other bids because he seemed very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and well versed in the scope of my project. His estimate also seemed like a fair fee. "Burrell Palmer looked at what we had and gave us a bid to tear apart the old pond and replace the liner.  He projected the job would only take two days.  They did it in a day and a half!  Several improvements were made to make the pond maintenance much easier.  A skimmer system was installed that houses filters and the pump.  And the waterfall feature was changed to make it better.  Burrell and his crews were terrific.  They showed up on time and made everything look perfect at the end.  I will hire them again for other landscape construction jobs we need done."

"Sta-Built tore down a make-shift retaining wall and installed a 70ft., two level brick retaining wall. They checked with us several times to make sure we liked the progress & made slight adjustments. Four gentlemen worked very well together to build excellent walls. Job Supervisor Hector & works paid attention to every detail and cleaned up the work areas, racked and spread seed where equipment had to work. "My wife and I hired Forest Landscape to remove our old rotted pressure treated retaining wall by our Koi pond and replace with natural black basalt rock. They also removed our wood raised garden walls and replaced with paver stone with a top cap. They also removed our badly installed basalt rock pathway that was loose and lifting up. The rock pathway was installed only three years ago by Cornerstone Hardscapes. Forest Landscapes installed a stamped concrete pathway where the basalt rock pathway was removed Jose and Rigo Castaneda were very professional to work with and there crew were real craftsman with attention to detail. They showed up on time and worked even on Saturday to finish project on time. We will hire them again for any future projects."
