He came within a reasonable time frame to bid this smallish project and took the time to explain what was causing our yard to be soggy and exactly what needed done to fix the problem. Since this was a smaller project he was able to squeeze this in relatively quickly. We had no issues with work performed as you couldn’t barely tell where he ran the drain pipe as he peeled and relaid the sod back into place. He also went above and beyond with his work and you can see the pride and honesty when he and he crew are done. I would highly recommend using his services for any of your needs. "I hired Zach to install a french drain, to plant some trees, and to install a rock bed at the edge of my property. Zach and crew were very timely and pleasant, and the price was right. But after completion i noticed some minor property damage, and some minor issues with the quality of work and cleanup. I'm a reasonable guy and sent Zach a text letting him know my thoughts, hoping to have a direct convo about it. However, I have not heard back from him at all. Hate to not leave 5 stars, but a little extra customer service would have gone a long way here. Here is that text: Hey Zach, just completed the final invoice. Apologies it took me a few days, we were camping with no cell service until yesterday. I wanted to let you know since i believe in constructive feedback, I'm not happy with some of the work done. My fence post was ran into and dented. I'll try to use a crowbar to repair but if that does not work i'll have to order a replacement & install. A bunch of the trees are planted at a pretty strong 30 degree angle instead of being upright. I'll straighten these out. There are still lots of big rocks in the lawn where the rock pile was. I'll take 30 minutes to clean it up. I know it rained heavily after the fresh soil / seed was planted, but some straw would have gone a long way to keep it in place. I'll have to re rake and seed and straw everything. Some of these are small things, but they leave a bad impression, and I wish your team would have just been upfront with me about the bent fence post."

"Steve was thorough in his discussions about the project. I'm usually pretty detailed about projects and think things through. Steve would bring things up that I hadn't thought of and my wife and I appreciated the time he took. He also considered that there were several options for our design to choose from and he walked us through the pros and cons. For example, the way that lights would be spaced on our wall between windows and doors was not technically even, but looked good given the spacing of those openings. Also, he showed us a couple of options for the size and spacing of slats for our roof vent so we could preview it before it was created.
Steve does not run a big company, so you get really personalized service. He is part of the projects as they happen. This also means that his availability to do projects varies. But, he is proactive about his availability and once he starts a job he and his team are on-site until it's finished.
This was our second or third project with him. At the beginning, he installed a sliding door and a pair of doors with sidelights that open onto our patio. These were installed about five years ago and we love them. In fact, he has done almost all the outside work on our house over the last five years, including unanticipated problem areas.
