First, the PEOPLE: Tom (the owner) listened carefully to my concerns about our old roof; gave it a close inspection; and recommended a perfect solution ("Weathered Wood shingles," "Winterberry shutters"). The front office staff were friendly, easy to work with, and answered all of my questions patiently and promptly. The supervisor, foreman, and crew who did the work were exceptional -- rarely have I have seen a team as focused, steady, and conscientious as they were. They were well trained and high-performing -- bar none -- and they did a THOROUGH cleanup job afterward. Next, the PRODUCT: We are very impressed with the Landmark Pro architectural shingles -- they are solid, attractive, and match our landscape beautifully. Also, the crew was trained by CertainTeed, and it showed: The shingle lines were straight and true, with no defects at all. And the ridge vents are GREAT! We've already noticed how much cooler our attic is. Very nice! And they installed four new Velux skylights -- again, the product is beautiful and the installation was tight and true (no leaks this time!). Third, the PRICE: It was fair and reasonable for the quality of the product and the work done (covering four roofs plus one shed). We have no complaints at all. A fair price for an excellent job. Finally, TIMELINESS: Certified Inc. was able to do the job within two weeks after I signed the contract. Unbelievable -- but they did it! I strongly recommend Certified Inc. to anybody who needs a new roof -- and I'm actively telling my friends and co-workers the same thing."

"We received a drive-by visit in early September from Presidential Exteriors canvassing the neighborhood and while we knew we were living on borrowed time, with our roof last replaced before 1991, we don't do business with companies we don't know and trust. In this case I said no thank you, and the canvasser made a last comment that struck a chord, to look them up online. After checking their references, even though a fairly new company, they had very positive feedback in Angie's List. I then called and made an appointment and my wife and I were impressed with the salesperson, Ben (we've never had someone climb around the unfinished attic in completing their assessment) for his knowledge, genuineness, detail, and approach, and we signed a contract to renovate our roofing with architectural tiles and to install wider gutters (all in preparation for global warming). Over two days, the crew of two performed an amazing job at removing multiple layers of very old shingles (resulting in less full shingles being removed, and mostly partially torn pieces) and the care and cleanup left the full area around the house and bushes almost clean. Understandably, with any re-roofing I cannot imagine you wouldn't have some small amount of cleanup and a few full handfuls of nails and staples over the following months. In our case, in the subsequent week we have found over 60 nails so far using our own magnetic broom (purchased at Home Depot). The third day found the crew finishing the roofing and the other contractors arriving to remove and install the new gutters. So far, the new roof and rain gutters look great and we're cautiously awaiting the approaching storm season."

"Our project manager, Manny, and crew supervisor, Jorge, did a great job with our roof replacement today! Manny was very communicative and helpful throughout the repair. Jorge and the crew were efficient and did a very thorough clean up when finished. Our only concerns revolve around the initial reason we scheduled a repair, which was due to a ceiling leak after a rain storm. The sales person that came out was very nice and informative. He told us that while he could not determine the source of our leak, we needed a new roof. However, in our naivete, we forgot to wait on our insurance assessor before making any decisions. Post insurance assessment, we had a hard time getting answers from either the project manager or sales manager, and just moved forward with the replacement hoping it fixed our issue. Long story short, while the level of service and overall customer service were great, we had a major repair done that may not even be related to our issue. Our roof likely could have waited for a repair. Service=excellent! I would 100% recommend, just make sure you actually need a new roof."
