I called Lauren and advised of the problems, he coordinated the appointment with my tenant, he was out the following day, quickly diagnosed both problems, ordered the parts required to fix the dishwasher, he bought a receptacle outlet at a local store and when part came in for dishwasher he contacted the tenant and made the necessary repairs the following day. Lauren diagnosed, ordered parts immediately and took care of the problem as soon as parts came in. His pricing is very reasonable, he is very reliable, honest and trustworthy. "Everything went fine, until I asked that he replace the shutoff gate valves with 1/4 turn valves. He eemurred saying that would be another hour's work and I would have to pay extra. I had a different plumber install similar fixtuires and the valves in two hours for two basins. When I asked about this I was told that this was their standard practice, and the technician was not happy with the coupon arrangement that he claimed was set up by Angie's List without input from the company. While the work was done professionally, I was surprised that he wanted another hour to install the two valves and that I got this story about disagreement between the AL sales department and his company.

"This was the third company called to repair our fridge. The first company fixed a problem but created a second by not connecting wires correctly. He then could not fix it and ordered a new "board". Needless to say, this didn't fix the problem. We never heard from him again. The second company said the problem was internal to the fridge and we needed a new built-in at $7000. Then, we called L & S. Mike was great and on time. Diagnosed and fixed the problem in 10 minutes and was then apologetic about the cost!!"

He was able to fix the dishwasher with a minor adjustment when I was ready to replace the entire unit. He then assessed the problem with the wine cooler and gave me an estimate, ordered the part and said he, or one of his service techs would return the following day to make the repair. Although I offered, he took no payment until the job was completed to our satisfaction. The next day as promised I received a call from the service tech, who was also courteous and knowledgable, telling me he was on his way and wanted to confirm our address. The repair was made and I was given the bill which included which I gladly paid. The entire experience was very professional, a rare find, and I highly recommend this company and the service they provide.
