"I tried to change out a bathroom vent fan by myself and put a huge hole in my ceiling. I called and Jorge and Vicente came over within an hour. They fixed my fan and my ceiling and then changed out 2 more for me. They did a great job. All 3 fans work great and look wonderful. The pricing was very affordable and both Jorge and Vicente were very professional and I would hire them again."

"Joe, this is what I posted on Facebook: We had our tub and bath replaced with this walk in shower, thinking of our 95 year old mother in law moving in. FIVE STAR BATH did the work in one day with three guys. I can't say enough about the great job they did, the professionalism, asking all the right questions about placement and clean up. They are a family owned local business and there prices are discounted. I highly recommend this company! Anybody looking to get this done, here is Joes number and please mention our names! "After pricing new cabinets at a big box store, I contacted Shawn and what he offered was much better and more cost effective. He came to my house with many samples and I quickly found what I liked. The job was completed when he said it would be and the overall quality of the cabinets and work performed exceeded my expectations. Shawn and John paid attention to detail and I see no flaws anywhere in the completed cabinets. They did some extra things i didn't expect and when finished completely cleaned the kitchen. Great to work with and friendly too. I recommend them, and anyone considering replacing cabinets should look at refacing if existing ones are made of wood. My old cabinets looked horrible and now look showroom new."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
