"This was definitely a 5 star operation from the initial discussions to the finishing touches! For a major renovation and upgrade to our master bathroom we reviewed potential contractors and their customer comments. VKB stood out. Our VKB designer Sean clearly has artistic talent and lots of design experience. He patiently worked with us, showing us 3D design options as we considered alternative configurations and materials. When we were satisfied with the design, Sean transitioned us smoothly to the build phase, introducing Jason as our project manager and Walter as our crew chief. Sean personally familiarized Jason with the project, inviting us to share our thoughts and any concerns. During the renovation, Walter and his crew would carefully isolate the MBR work from the rest of the house, sealing off the room and path to the front door with plastic barriers and floor coverings every morning and remove them every evening. Everyone was polite and sensitive to our living space. Jason was responsive to our wishes to refine several design aspects as the work proceeded, and Walter and his crew smoothly made the alterations. After the main construction was completed Jason remained very attentive to our ‘punch list’ of remaining details and our questions until all had been resolved. Walter ensured very high-quality work down to the finest detail. All the work from design to completion was well within the timeframe we had hoped. In the end, we have a beautiful MBR well beyond our original expectations!"

They demolished everything, then put in new tiles for shower wall and floor, changed the tub, replaced all faucets, vanities, lights and painted the rooms. They are professional and patient, they attend to my requests and give suggestions. The job has been completed on time and in good quality. Will let them do my floor next year. Thank you!"

"Everything from the bidding process, through completion, was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Dimitri and every person who he brought into our home treated it as anyone would want their own to be treated. This was not a small project. They vaulted the ceiling in the living area, completely removing the roof on half the house, and did a full new roof. Matched the existing red oak hardwood flooring, and sanded/re-stained the entire upstairs. All the plumbing and electrical in the entire house was replace. New kitchen, 3.5 new bathrooms, finished basement, combined two bedrooms to make a master suite. New HVAC. New generator…. You name it, and it was done. When all was said and done, I think our two hall bedrooms were the one walls that weren’t torn down. We could not possibly recommend Dimitri and his company (his two sons work with him as well) any higher. They are honest, and hard working. Old school in all the best ways."

"We used BlackStone Kitchen and Bath for an inside alteration project involving removing a couple of walls to turn three smaller rooms into a single living space. The project included installing new electrics, boxing hvac ducting, replacing the dry wall in one of the areas and installing new crown molding, chair-rail and skirting throughout to create a consistent look for the new space from the previous individual rooms. Project took five days and the team worked long days to ensure completion. Both the team leader (Walter) and Project Manager (Justin) were continually attentive to the details of the project and keen to ensure we were happy with the work as it was progressing and, of course, on completion. "Note this review is for removing carpet and replacing with corelux floors in about 400 sq feet and recaulking and reglazing 2 bathrooms. Very professional and understanding of my budget needs. Juan was super patient with me; I modified the quote request about 10 times. His crew was kind, careful with clean up and ensuring they had drop cloths over as many areas as possible and always took their shoes off if walking on uncovered floor. They stuck to the timeline and budget. Couldnâ t be happier!"
