"We had Champion install windows and a door on our previously screened in only patio. Overall we're pretty satisfied with the job. They showed up as scheduled and were finished in one day, except for the door. It came with the hinge on the wrong side. It was immediately reordered but, because it was a custom built door, it took 3 weeks to get it and get it installed. They did not ask for payment for any of the job (except for the deposit we paid much earlier) until the door was installed. I think that says something about their integrity. All the installers were very friendly and pleasant. They did a thorough clean up."

"I got a quote from Brian Howell last summer and it took a few months to decide to move forward with the project; after I contacted Brian with the go ahead, it took a few more months before his crew could get to me, but I understood then (and better understand now after having them around for ten weeks) that they focus all of their attention on the house they're working on, rather than rushing to get it done in a set amount of time so they can go on to the next job.  I had many problems with my house because the builder was more interested in building as many houses as they could as quickly as possible, so I greatly appreciate Brian's emphasis on quality. <br /> Once the crew started, in mid-May, they started with a bang.  They started removing the old, rotting wood siding and had every bit of it down within just a couple of days.  The sub fascia was in bad shape and they ended up having to replace a large section of the porch roof and one of the porch posts due to rotted wood.  After the repairs, they started on the siding, which went up in just a few days.  Next came the windows; I chose a sash replacement system, and they were able to replace nearly all of the windows in a single day.  After that I settled on colors and details (exterior lights, new door locks) and they started painting.  I made a late decision to replace the back door, so they had to do extra work, but they were great about it and Brian gave me a fair price on the labor. <br /> I was impressed with the crew and with Brian?s business practices throughout the process, and I am thrilled with the final result.  Yes, there were costs that I was not expecting, but Brian told me what they were before they did the work and I approved every dime.  He was more than fair on costs and made sure I was happy at every step in the project.  The foreman, John, kept me updated on what was happening and took care of every little detail; I was so thankful to have him on the job.  The crew moved quickly, but the work was done well, and I no longer worry about my house falling down around me. <br /> After my experience with DH Construction, I won?t even consider another contractor for a job that Brian?s crew can handle.  I highly recommend this company; you won?t be disappointed. <br />"

"Kenny, the company owner came to the house to measure the openings. My home is 35 years old and NOTHING is square or plumb! The old outside door under the carport was so warped that I could no longer open it. My husband and I was VERY particular about our wants and needs regarding our doors. I wanted steel doors, as wood warps too easily. I wanted smooth surface doors with no windows. My husband wanted a special deadbolt system, which I am unable to describe! I also wanted single hung storm doors that had screens installed and reinforced kick panel. This would allow my little dog to look out with extra safety. As ridiculous as this sounds, even to me, Kenny had the perfect solution! The doors have been installed for over a year and they still work as smoothly and efficiently as when they were initially installed."
